Itsy Hotels Kes Residency — Hotel in Bengaluru

Stayed for a night with a family- Jul '19, booked through Treebo. 12PM check-in ,11:00 AM check-out

First of all it is not a Hotel, its a Lodge. Rooms & passage are neat & clean. Lift & also staircase available. Back up generator available in case of power failure. Staff are courteous. If you have a car, then it is a problem, they do not have a parking space. Bed is enough for 2 people. Extra bed costs Rs. 300. Toiletries & towels they don't provide. But they have handwash, Showel gel & shampoo dispensers available.

Closet is small, AC effectiveness is good. Room do have a fan & LCD TV, Small teapoy & 2 chairs.

Flush tank was hanging due to one of the screw dislodged from the walk as a a result water was leaking. Hot water is available.

As soon as I entered the room it was full of cigarette smoke. The washroom locks up automatically when we close it and someone from outside had to open it using a key everytime. We were two so it was ok. What if I was solo? Whom should I scream up to open the washroom when I'm taking bath? The western comod was fully stained. The body wash in washroom was empty and no one bothered to fill it up before a client comes in. We had to ask for soap and only then they provided it. This is absolute irresponsibility that they don't bother to maintain it before a client comes in. Another dangerous part was lift stuck in between two floor. We then tried moving up and down and then it worked. It is absolutely unsafe for solo travellers and single clients. I discourage anyone to...

I stayed for around 4 days in this hotel.

The room and bathroom were clean. AC was fully functional. The representative let me check in at 7 am even though the check in was at 12pm. The hotel boys delivered the complimentary breakfast to the room. I faced no water problem and got hot water most of the times (morning/evening). The staff were respectful and catered to all my needs.

While booking here, do keep in mind this is a lodge not a hotel. The room I stayed was a small room with a double bed occupying 80% and hence, there was nothing else in the room apart from the bed. Also there were no cupboards to store luggage/valuables. Hence being aware of these really helps.
