Today (13th February 2022) a disgusting incident took place at Vaibhav Hotel, Bhagalpur (Zaika Restaurant) . A Family group visited there for having some good meal but they were insulted by the managing team. There were 5 girls among them. At the time of entrance they were allowed to carry their pet dog with them. No one objected them, even they asked if it's okay to carry their pet with them? They said it's okay, but after ordering their food 2 girls of managing staffs approached to them and asked them very rudely that who allowed you to carry your pets along with you? They replied that they asked at the reception and they said it's okay. But they argued with them and asked first to keep their pet on the floor from their lap. They were behaving a dog like a disease. Eventually they got lucky because there was another family group, they stand along with them and advised the staffs to talk politely because they haven't come to have free meal, they're going to pay you for your services. Afterwards they left but just for sometime. Then a person aged 40 years come to them and said "Khao aur niklo". They were shocked to listen these words from a senior managing staffs, it was just unexpected for them. The girls started crying by these words, but that person was constantly trying to push them out of the restaurant by saying foul words. They had enough to endure. So they wanted to left that place but that person chased them to the exit gate and the foul words were continuous from the senior managing staff.
The point is not that they should allowed to carry their pets along them, the point is that they should've asked politely to take it way from the premises. And It's not that the dog harmed anyone or anything present there. It's not that a dog never visited the Vaibhav Hotel before, there are pictures of pets on google reviews. And they fired the staff who allowed so. This incident took place approx 5 pm.
Why this hypocrisy? This pathetic act by the famed hotel of bhagalpur city doesn't suits well. After this disgusting incident took place with the family group they've decided never to visit that place again. They were unaware that a person can hate pets that much and can...
Read morehave not stayed in the room so not sure how the rooms are but have visited their restaurant many times and can say it's quite good. Food taste is good, service is also prompt and fast. I think Vaibhav has one of the biggest dining hall in the city. so you almost never need any reservation before visiting the restaurant. Price is on higher side. meal for 4 usually costs around 3K per visit, but As taste, ambiance and service is good, it justifies. A few bad experiences with the restaurant are occasional bad taste and once I got chicken slices in my veg pasta, that too when Navratre was being celebrated. most of the non veg eater don't eat non veg this period and I am pure vegetarian. Shocked? even I was. But it had happen with me many times in different restaurants around the world.So I didn't cared much about. But I felt bad when they even charged me for the pasta. At least as a gesture of sorry they shouldn't charge for it. rest every is good with the restaurant and despite a few more minor bad experiences with the restaurant.
