Hotel Punjab Palace — Hotel in Chandigarh

After looking around sector 22B for a while we realised we would not be able to find something within our budget. But it was getting late, so we were happy when we found this place. First impression was very good. We got a large room with two double beds, private bathroom, WiFi and hot water. ||After we checked in we noticed that the bedssheets was clean, but the rest of the room haven't been cleaned in a while. Both the bathroom and the floors could need a good clean ||We had to ask several time for the WiFi password, and the lazy guy in the reception had no intention on giving it to us. After asking many times he finally gave it to us. But he kept turning it off, blaming the rain!?||The hot water was more like a joke. When one of us was going to take a shower before going to bed we had to ask the receptionist several times and wait almost an hour before we got hot water. Same thing happened the next morning! And the roof of our bathroom had wholes in it, which we noticed very well when it was raining! ||There are certain things you get used to and accept after travelling for a while in India. But this hotel is pushing the limits. It has horrible costumer service, dirty rooms and I would not feel safe if I was travelling alone as a girl.
