I recently stayed at this hotel and would rate it 3 out of 5 stars overall. The experience was a mix of positives and areas that need improvement.

Starting with the room quality, it was decent but not exceptional. The room was adequately spacious and had all the basic amenities like air conditioning, TV, and Wi-Fi. However, the interiors felt slightly dated and could benefit from some refurbishment. The cleanliness was maintained, but finer details such as better bedding or improved bathroom fittings would have elevated the experience.

Moving on to the food menu, it offered a fair variety, though the taste and presentation could use some refinement. Breakfast had the usual spread of continental and local options, but I felt the flavors lacked consistency. While some dishes were enjoyable, others were quite average. For a longer stay, the menu may feel repetitive, and a bit more creativity from the kitchen would add great value.

The service was moderate. The staff were polite and generally helpful, but response times were slower than expected. At times, follow-ups were required for basic requests like fresh towels or housekeeping. The team seemed understaffed, which may have contributed to these delays.

One strong highlight of the hotel is its location. It is well-connected, with easy access to transport, shopping, and dining options nearby. This convenience added a lot to my stay.

The first thing to say about this hotel is that the staff are excellent. The young lady behind the reception desk and the porter were both extremely helpful to my colleague and I and we were both very grateful for all the help and advice they gave during our one night stay. My colleague and I flew into Raipur airport from England and as it was our first time in India we were very unsure of what to do and where to go.

The hotel itself is situated on platform 1 of Raipur station so if you are arriving or departing by train it is very well situated.

If you are travelling to the hotel from the airport it costs approximately 650 Rupees and takes about 30 minutes.

The rooms were spacious and very comfortable but looked a little tired in places. The bed linen was clean and comfortable and the shower and bathroom facilities all worked as you would expect.

I tried the room service menu and found the dishes I had to be very well cooked and plentiful - a very nice introduction to Indian cuisine.

The air conditioning in my room worked very well and kept my room at a very decent temperature throughout my one night stay.

Don’t expect this to be a five star hotel (it doesn’t advertise itself a such) but it is a very comfortable, well situated 2/3 star with pleasant staff and good facilities.
