Hotel Dreamland Dx Pahargnj — Hotel in Delhi

I visited Delhi for a friend's marriage and had planned to do some sightseeing. I was travelling alone and hence was searching for a hotel which is as budget friendly as possible ( basically a great hotel at throwaway prices) . I came across Hotel Dreamland DX. I decided to book it after seeing the reviews on google and a few other travel sites. In all honesty I was a bit apprehensive of the service and hygiene at this price point. However all my doubts vanished when i checked in to the hotel on 22nd December. I was given a deluxe room which was neat and clean including the washrooms. Even the doors had no dust on them. The service when it came to providing hot water, drinking water, food etc was quick. The staff was also very courteous and responsive. You just had to ask or express in case of any issues. I think this is a great option if you are a solo traveller or travelling with a group of friends. The only drawback i felt was there could have been slightly more ventilation in the room but then since you are travelling throughout the day and come back to your hotel room to relax , this is something that can be ignored. Overall a very good stay and will be in the top of my list in case I visit...

Terrible Experience – Highly Unsafe and Unhygienic ❌❌❌

I had an extremely disappointing and unpleasant stay at this hotel. The staff was incredibly rude and unprofessional throughout our visit. Shockingly, some of them appeared to be intoxicated while on duty, which is absolutely unacceptable.

They charged us extra for almost everything, with unnecessary fines and hidden fees that were never mentioned upfront. Our room was in a filthy condition — it had cockroaches, and despite multiple complaints, the staff responded with arrogance and even misbehaved with us.

There was no room service provided even once during our entire stay. When we requested drinking water, we were told to fetch it ourselves. This level of negligence and disrespect is alarming.

Overall, the environment felt unsafe, unsanitary, and extremely poorly managed. I strongly advise others not to stay here under any...

These are the things I found very unpleasant:

The room is very small. The bed size is very small. Two single beds were put together to make a double bed, which made it uncomfortable. The AC in the room was not working properly; it emitted a musty smell. The bathroom is very small, and the bathroom door lock was broken. The toilet flush didn't work. They did not provide complimentary mineral water; only normal water was available. I stayed for a total of 6 days, and they changed the bed sheets only once during that time. The room was not cleaned regularly. I found their service very poor. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone.
