Worst Service Ever – Here's Why This Café Has a 4.8⭐ Rating (And Why It Doesn’t Deserve It)
They force customers to rate them positively. 🫠 They only treat foreigners nicely.
🤦♂️ Issues I Faced:
Rude Waiter at Reception: The waiter, who was also at the reception, was extremely unprofessional. When I politely asked about my order, he rudely replied, “Dikh nahi raha? de rahe hai, 2 min ruk jao.”
🧍♂️ Is this how you talk to a paying customer?
Swiggy Dineout Drama:
I paid through Swiggy Dineout for a 20% discount on a ₹1200 bill. Two café staff members came up aggressively and said: “You booked the table from Swiggy after ordering food. You can’t do that!” 😡
Excuse me? I can book from wherever I want — it's about my convenience. If you don’t want people using Swiggy Dineout, then why list your café there at all? 🤷♂️
Also, it’s normal for customers to forget to book in advance. Instead of getting aggressive, maybe show some courtesy.
💡 Pro Tip: Take a hotel management course and learn how to treat your customers with respect.
Misleading Menu & Poor Locality: ❌ The vibe is off, and the area is polluted and unpleasant. 📸 Don’t be fooled by the menu pics online — the real prices are much higher.
For example:
Butter Naan: Photo – ₹50–₹60 → Reality – ₹105–₹115 Any Paneer Curry: ₹375–₹475 😵
Quantity = A Joke: They serve just 5–6 tiny cubes of paneer for ₹400+ 💸 Bro, you're not a Starbucks franchise. 😅
Taste? Below Average. Food wasn’t even served hot. Looked like cold paneer thrown into gravy made 2–3 days ago 🤢
Pizza = Thin Chapati: Tasted like cardboard. No flavor. Edible only after drowning it in oregano and chili flakes. Rating: 3/10 🍕
🚫 Final Verdict: Don’t fall for the online hype. This place is overpriced, tasteless, unprofessional, and definitely not worth your money...
Read moreUnhygienic and dirty. When you first enter the care, you get a whiff of sweat and heat, as if they never switch on the AC. Because they never do. Upon arrival you’ll see plates kept on the tables after the customer is long gone. There are about 12 tables there and 7 of them had empty leftovers on it and rest of the 5 were occupied with people.
You can’t fail to notice the dirty floors and cockroaches roaming about the restaurant - they have seemed to taken like a decor now than a pest. After waiting for about 10 minutes I finally was shooed to a table which was dirty and someone came in 15 mins later to take the order. (After reminding them multiple times ofcourse) We ordered English breakfast with masala omelette and aaloo parathas. It took them 20 minutes to get our orders (which is understandable) but my eggs were wrongly made. Now being a restaurant the least they could do was give me my egg preparation and allow me to atleast start eating my breakfast - I’ve waited over 35-40 minutes at this point now. But no. Suddenly someone comes and tells me to give up the wrongly made egg to get a replacement egg. When I objected to the fact that it was their fault and I am beyond hungry at this point, they refused to budge for a mere 20 rupee omelette. The manager was extremely rude to me and my family and the customer service was terrible. In all this hassle my food became cold and I sent the entire preparation back. What a waste of a day and horrible way to start my day. To anyone who expects a bare basic decency of service - you won’t find it here. Though my ordered was replaced after a massive scene at the restaurant, I would not recommend anyone to go there if they have an ounce of self respect...

I visited this café after seeing its 4.8⭐ rating, but the experience was far from what I expected. Here's why:
👎 Staff Behaviour: The waiter (who also handled reception) was extremely rude. When I asked about my order, he replied sarcastically: “Dikh nahi raha? De rahe hain, 2 min ruk.” That’s not how you treat paying customers.
😡 Swiggy Dineout Drama: I used Swiggy Dineout to get a 20% discount on my ₹1200 bill — completely valid. Right after paying, two staff members came aggressively and said: “You can’t use Swiggy after ordering! Aisa nahi hota!” Excuse me? If that’s your policy, then don’t list your café on Swiggy Dineout in the first place. Many people book after sitting down — it's normal. Your team needs to learn basic manners and stop arguing with customers over your own listing.
💸 Misleading Pricing: The prices on the online menu are much lower than the actual ones. Example:
Butter naan shows ₹60 online ➡️ Real price: ₹115 Any paneer curry = ₹375–₹475 Too expensive for the quality and quantity served.
🍽 Food Quality = Below Average:
Paneer was cold and seemed stale Pizza was thin as a chapati, no flavour Portion size is a joke for the price
Final Verdict: ❌ Not Worth It Nice photos online, but reality = overpriced food, poor service, and zero customer respect. Would...
