Absolutely Avoid This Hotel – A Nightmare From Start to Finish!

My recent stay at Baywatch Beach resort, without exaggeration, one of the worst hotel experiences I've ever had. From the moment we checked in, it was clear this was not going to be a pleasant stay, and it only deteriorated from there.

The room itself was dismal. It reeked of stale cigarette smoke, despite being a "non-smoking" room. The carpets were stained, the bathroom had visible mold in the grout, and the towels felt like sandpaper. The bed was incredibly uncomfortable, leading to restless nights. Basic amenities like working bedside lamps were missing, and the air conditioning unit sounded like a jet engine preparing for takeoff, making it impossible to sleep without earplugs. Service was practically non-existent; requests for extra pillows or fresh towels were met with long delays or outright forgotten. The breakfast was a chaotic affair with limited, unappetizing options and staff who seemed more interested in their phones than assisting guests.

However, the absolute height of unprofessionalism came after our stay. A few days later, I received a direct message on Instagram from an account seemingly associated with the hotel, casually asking me to leave a "random 5-star Google review" because it would "really help their ratings." This unsolicited, blatant attempt to manipulate online reviews is not only unethical but deeply insulting, especially after such a terrible experience. It clearly shows they're more concerned with faking good reviews than actually improving their abysmal service and facilities.

Save your money, your time, and your sanity. There are countless other hotels that actually care about guest experience and operate with integrity. Do yourself a favor and book...

I had booked baywatch looking at the pictures and insta reels, My booking was from 20/03 to 22/03 which we cut short to just 1 day.

The place is not at all like in the pictures, i had called someone from the reception to book thw place and asked them to share latest pictures with me to which they shared pictures that were probably 1-1n1/2 year old. I had confirmed with them if the property looks the same to which I was told yes "Exactly Same"

Review of my experience:

Parking: about 500m from the property, the parking is a public space besides the road. There was slight damage at my rear bumper when I returned the next day.

Room: The rooms are no where close to what they use to look in the pictures it's dirty the walls are stained, washroom was the worst with stains over the walls the dustbin was also not changed. The AC was not working as well even at 16*C.

View: I should admit the view from the room was good the breeze and sound of waves is definitely calming.

Room service: Room boy when i arrived was good, but when I complained to him that I will not be extending my stay due to the above reasons his behaviour only changed, did not get water when I asked came knocking at my door at 9:00am saying 10:00am was the checkout and then bluntly asked "Kab nikloge".

Would request the management of Baywatch to look into...

Amazing Stay at Baywatch Patnem!

My stay at Baywatch Patnem in South Goa was absolutely delightful! This hotel is perfectly located right on the beach, allowing you to enjoy the sound of the ocean and breathtaking sunsets every day.

The rooms are cozy, clean, and equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. I especially loved the balcony with its stunning sea view—it created a special atmosphere of relaxation and tranquility.

Patnem Beach turned out to be a true paradise: quiet, clean, and not overcrowded with tourists. It’s the perfect place for those seeking peace and seclusion.

The hotel staff were very friendly and attentive, always ready to assist. The on-site restaurant offered delicious local cuisine, and the fresh seafood was a highlight!
