Casa de Patio gave us a memorable wedding anniversary - just as we like it. They wanted to give us a candle light dinner and all but were understanding enough when we said there was no need for that. But they gave us a complimentary dinner. We chose a veg thali and a mushroom masala and the food was delicious. There was an aloo sabzi dry and a simple dal - both were what Indians call 'homely' - sattvic. The paneer and mushroom dishes were more typical of the usual hotel styles but also well made and tasty. The rotis were soft and just like mom made it. And it was very romantic for us sitting by the poolside - the existing lighting was as romantic as candle light.
Samiksha took photos of us but we are yet to receive the photos. I do hope they will be sent.
All the complimentary breakfasts were ample and wholesome. The fruits - large sweet bananas, sweet watermelons and papayas and pineapples - all good quality. Idlis/poha/puri-bhaji were the main breakfast dishes with nice coconut chutney and sambar. There was always bread, butter and jam sandwich triangles and tea and coffee. The poolside eating arrangement is an excellent idea. We really enjoyed the small pool - taking two dips per day. Young people would fully enjoy it and that was sweet to see.
The clientele is mostly Indian and the hotel caters to that profile. Especially in being vegetarian. So that is one regret :D as some fish would have been most welcome.
My thanks to the two young men - one from the North East whose name I forget but it began with a B. The other person was the first person to greet us when we reached the hotel at about 8 in the morning. And he was perfect - attentive and proactive.
Someone phoned after we were given a room earlier than check-in (for a fee) to ask if we wanted a better room or a change of room but we decided to remain in the same room as it was good enough for the two of us. A kettle was provided and so we could make our own teas since we wake up early and always carry tea premix packets. The towels were good, clean, large and absorbent. Hot water from the shower was good - the shower worked well. There was a multipurpose shower gel. The potty situation was also good.
The best part was that it was fairly peaceful and I am a bad sleeper but had excellent sleep in that room.
I'm sorry to have forgotten the name of the other young lady but she was most kind and pampered us a lot. My best wishes to her.
I also thank the gentleman who cleans the pool - Joachim. We enjoyed interacting with him.
All the other clients too seemed to be having a nice time.
Many thanks to the hotel...

To begin with, this property is as clean as it looks like in the listed pictures. The room size was a little cramped, it could have been better but the plus being the common area is massive, the property is very breathe-able and well ventilated.
We stayed in room number 202, the view was amazing. It was basically a direct view of forest from the hill. (If you can get your hands on this room then nothing like it)
STAFF The biggest sell point of this property is the managing staff, you ring the bell at the reception at whatever hour of the day, the team is ready to assist you. (I have ordered bottles of water in middle of the night and the staff has delivered the same within 2-3 minutes)
BREAKFAST Very limited options, in-fact not more than two options available. But their Tea is something to hold on to. (I have ended up refilling my cup thrice at one go)
ACCESSIBILITY 30kms from the dabolim airport. All the good cafés/bars/restaurants north are at least 35-40 mins away. Nearest beach is 15 mins away which is Candolim.

The room was well-appointed and spacious, with all the modern amenities I could ask for. The bed was comfortable, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. The bathroom was clean and well-maintained, with all the necessary toiletries provided.
The hotel also had a great restaurant, serving delicious food and drinks. The breakfast spread was particularly impressive, with a wide variety of options to choose from.
