Hotel Mandarin — Hotel in Goa

I stayed in this hotel from 23rd dec to 25th Dec. I Wouldn't Recommend this hotel to anyone unless if very necessary. There are Sudden power outages with out any proper back we were left in the dark for about an hour and when we tell their staff they say what can we do There is also no restaurant in the hotel so you have to walk a bit for dining they also do not Provide basic water bottles Their staff is also very rude.On the checkout day the checkout time was 10 am my train was at 3:30 in the afternoon so we decided to keep our bags in the hotel instead of taking it outside while keeping the bags I kept my bags at a distance from other guests bags to avoid confusion and mix up despite it one of the staff rudely said that not mix up and when I responded in a form manner he became angry and try to threaten me. Their staff is inco-operative and rude including the lady at the reception.The good reviews are mostly paid or be given from people they know don't get fooled by their reviews. I would not Recommend anybody to stay at this third class and pathetic hotel unless no other options are available and if very necessary.There are many more better options available at the same prices with amenities. The Hotel is situated right in the mapusa market which is a good thing so if you wanna shop, then you can stay over here. Hotel isn't that great but there staff was very co-operative. They don't have room service. If you want to order something to eat then you will have to help yourself by going to the cafeteria which is on their terrace where the menu is very limited. One thing which I didn't like about this hotel is that you must handover your room keys while going out which is mandatory. I don't understand if the room service is not available, then why do they need the keys! Only because they behaviour of the staff was good and the location is decent, I would consider staying over...

In a week this is our third hotel, I would say - AWESOME Experience. Room were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend Hotel Mandarin, Mapusa for anyone visiting downtown Mapusa, Goa.
