Red Crab Eco Resort — Hotel in Goa

This review is a delayed one and I hope to do justice on my review.

Due to personal reasons we (me and my wife) couldn't find the time or the space to write our honest review on the place.

One of the finest place in South Goa with breathtaking views. You will hands down will get one of the most romantic sunset ever. Either from the restaurant up top or in the Patio outside in the resorts.

Staffs- what can I say, most friendly people, with great hospitality and friendly gestures either with the help you need or the suggestions you give them whilst in restaurant, name them you will get the help you need. Most of the are local goans. The owner wanted to have the guest to have most authentic goan experience. Maids were super helpful in resorts. Shoutout to saperesh who gave us awesome deals on the car!!!

Resorts - comfy, luxury, romantic, safe and the sound you hear from the waves crashing down the shores will be a gentle lullaby which will put you right to sleep. And if you manage to wakeup in middle of the night you will find one the most romantic moon sight. It will like straight from movies, moon light finding it's way from the coconut tree straight to your vanity mirror on your room. The place has all the necessary amenities.

Restaurant- finding good restaurant in South Goa is difficult, man this restaurant packs a flavour. With the live kitchen you can have one of the most interesting experience. They have daily dress seafoods and if you happen to have special occasion they will catch some exotic seafood as they have sea to table deal with the local fishermens.

The owner- Jackson the man himself. We visited the place back in 2021 new years and I believe we were the longest to stay there in the resort (13 days). Initial plan was to stay till Jan 3 but after we experienced we decided to stay there for the next 10 days. Jackson helped us a lot with giving us great deals on the resort, finding local transport and the hospitality he showed us was the only reason made us stay in the place. He introduced his family, shared his experience as the cruise and gave us some of his life lessons too. What a great chat we had.

To Jackson and the staff- Sorry it took us 7 months to write a review but the memory you guys gave us was the one of the most memorable one to the horrors we had this year. We thank you and hope to visit you guys...

I have clicked like a zillion stills of various picturesque views @redcrabecoresort has to offer and still none of them would do justice. You have to be here to feel it. This is part lll and final part of my 8 days at South Goa, March 2023 visit. Let's begin the pros and cons list!

CONS: I am not really sure to like or dislike the food of the restaurant here. Sometimes it's too bland like the lemon rice I had ordered, it was nowhere close to an authentic one and it had nothing in it besides pieces of lemon and sometimes it's extremely spicy, like the crab curry I ordered.

Unfortunately the last order is at 8:30 and so by the time I taste the food it's too late to call up and question about it.

PROS:

Even though some dishes are extreme at the restaurant, be assured you'll get fresh and healthy meal. It's not overtly salty or oily which is extremely important to me when I eat outside.

Moving on from food, I think I satisfied my appetite with the gorgeous view this resort has to offer. Every second is breathtaking. You would be reminded of the postcard paintings of an idea beach view from here.

I stayed at room no.3 which has such a cosy set up on the outside porch area where you can spend your evenings. The bathroom is to die for too, it has a natural lighting and the view from there, oh my! The room, of course has beautiful view too.

The location os this property is close to many interesting spots around Cabo de rama. The beach, the view points and our secret little beach which is a small treck, but I leave that up to you to discover.

The staff is here is always delighted to see you. I was so happy to look at super strong bunch of women running this place.

If you're a fan of sunsets like me, you'll experience many beautiful ones from here, the soothing winds will calm your senses and the quaintness of this place will fill you with peace.

I am so glad my trip ended on such a pleasant note with red crab eco resorts. Goodluck to the whole team.

We had the most incredible stay in charming little houses perched on a cliff, offering stunning views of the ocean, palm trees, and curving cliffs. The tranquility of the location was unmatched—super quiet and peaceful, with plenty of privacy, especially compared to other nearby accommodations. Every morning, we woke up to the soothing sounds of waves and birds.

A huge shoutout to Jackson, the owner, who clearly has a genuine commitment to supporting the local community through his staff. The on-site restaurant exceeded our expectations, offering a fantastic variety of delicious, reasonably priced dishes, and as hotel guests, we even had the option of room service!

Jackson also helped us arrange a boat trip with a local fisherman, where we explored caves, secluded beaches, and had the chance to see dolphins, eagles, jellyfish, and more—truly unforgettable.

The hospitality from the staff was exceptional, always warm, welcoming, and friendly. Purvi and her team took care of our laundry, which came back beautifully cleaned. It’s clear that they go above and beyond to ensure guests feel well taken care of.
