Saga De Petra@The Saga Stays : Luxurious villas in Goa — Hotel in Goa

It has been my worst experience in terms of stay fro Goa. We booked this property for 11 adults from 27-30th dec at exorbitant prices considering it was the peak season. we were assured of clean and modern amenities of the villa as its in one of the most popular areas of Goa i.e. Anjuna. we reached the property at 12 pm only to find that there was no electricity and water. after much wait, the care taker somehow managed to get the electricity started. Imagine all 11 adults needed to wait after a hectic journey, for such basic amenities. this was the scene almost every day where out of the limited number of hours that we stayed in the villa, the electricity and water was never available. in the temperature of 30 degrees during the AC did not work at all and we had to suffer. every-time we called the caretaker, he would say there is electricity problem in Anjuna and we cannot help much. since we had done partial payment, the owner would call and force us to make the payment and threaten us of penalty charges if late payment. if we complain him of the services he would say that that its mentioned in the ad that the property has inverter back up ( which also did not work) we were also promised housekeeping everyday and that also did not happen for day 1 and after much reminder finally at 8:30 pm the rooms were cleaned, Overall highly dissatisfied with the property, the maintenance and poor lapse of infrastructure ( broken almirahs, basic rot iron beds, old and unmaintained water filter). We feel extremely cheated and would definitely never recommend this place to anyone. please DO NOT BOOK THIS...

We visited between 15-17 May' 24. 3 BHK. SagaDePetra-S. Mr. Mahesh Gupta, Manager was the caretaker. None of the three flush tanks in all the toilets were working, which was informed to other associate contact numbers besides the caretaker but there was no response or any action in that matter. Food comes from the Restaurant located 4Kms away (as informed to us). We did not try Chef provided by SDPS so we cannot comment on it. The Manager had no clue of any beaches or Cruise, although he attempted to find out through his other sources which however did not work out. The AC in one of the room had below average cooling capacity. On the positive side, the rooms were well-maintained and had enough crockery in the Kitchen Room. The rooms are spacious beyond a doubt. The location is safe. Moreover, unless you can drive 2/4 wheeler vehicles by yourself or through rental vehicles hired by you all the time, it is difficult to travel by foot (especially at night) or to go to any location (as public transport or private vehicles are not easily available). The location is remote (but silent & peaceful) however, one should have all the materials of day-to-day use for a comfortable vacation so to avoid dependability on the caretaker who would take lot of time to render...
