My stay at Saltamontes in Anjuna, Goa, was nothing short of amazing. From the moment I booked my stay, I was impressed by the excellent customer service. Abhishek, one of the owners, called me at 11 am to check on my arrival time and stayed in touch throughout the day to ensure a smooth check-in.

Upon arrival at 8 pm, I was pleasantly surprised to be welcomed with a refreshing kokum sherbet. This thoughtful gesture set a positive tone for my stay. Later, I was delighted to find that my room had all the amenities and necessities I needed, eliminating the need for room service calls. The location of Saltamontes is ideal, situated in the heart of Anjuna, with almost all attractions less than a 10-minute drive away.

One of the highlights of my stay was the on-site car parking near the hotel entrance. This feature was especially convenient for late-night returns after a night out, as it provided a safe and secure parking option.

While the rooms at Saltamontes may be considered basic, they offer excellent value for money. I had no complaints, especially considering the affordable rate.

I also had the pleasure of meeting Shabana, another owner of Saltamontes, who provided valuable guidance and recommendations for places to visit and activities to enjoy in Goa.

The attached cafe at Saltamontes has a delightful ambiance, with a menu presented in a unique magazine format. Although I didn't have the opportunity to try any dishes, the menu looked enticing.

Saltamontes also offers various activities in their cafe, with a mix of comfortable seating options, including regular tables and bar-style seating. With only four rooms available, Saltamontes is an excellent choice for larger groups looking for a comfortable and convenient stay.

Location & Property: The place is a gem tucked in a beautiful, serene location just ~1km away from all the hustle and bustle of Anjuna. The property has greenery all around and a very chilled out vibe and you would feel it as soon as yous step in. A huge parking space for your 2/4-wheelers. The room was spacious, neat and clean - we spent there 8 days without any issue.

Services: No short of excellent! The hosts were super responsive to whatever we had asked for and made sure our needs were met timely.

Pet Friendly: Major plus for me was that this place is pet friendly. We had no trouble thinking about their meals. The staff had it covered at all times. We stayed for 8 days with 2 pet (dogs) and it became their own home where they could roam around and sit and chill. You will find 4 kittens Ginger, Kysine, Tala and Pepper sitting back and soaking in the vibe as well.

Cafe & Bar: The food is good. The cocktails and mocktails are wonderful. Please give it a try. You can enjoy your snack drinks lying on one of those cozy couches/sofa in the cafe with some music in the background and greenery all around. It just heals from within!

Adding on: Just in case you don't want to step out, they arrange fun events like Karoke night, Jive Workshop, Live music and movie nights etc within the property itself and those were great!

Overall Review: The standout feature of this place was the warm & welcoming hosts there. Thanks to Abhishek, Shabana, Jassi, Ash, Sachi, K and the one-man army Uttam and all those whom I may have missed for such a wonderful stay. I wish you good luck and hope to see you soon!
