YoYoGoa Vagator Retreat — Hotel in Goa

DO NOT RUIN YOUR HOLIDAY BY STAYING HERE. I booked this property for 5 nights from 15th August to 20th August. After reading prior review and seeing pictures posted online, I expected it to be a decent resort with decent rooms. I was slightly taken aback by the road that led up to the resort. It was poorly paved, poorly lit and very dangerous to go to the resort after it is dark. Anyway, I was hoping for proper, clean rooms once we get there. But to my disappointment, when I entered the room I was utterly disturbed to see the reality of the room that was offered to us. It was not as showed in the pictures. We saw there were towels hanging all over the room. When asked about the same, we were told that as it is raining the towels were hung to be dried in the room. The walls were dirty, the floors were dirty, the bathroom was dirty and stunk so disgusting that it took us hardly 5 minutes to realize that we can't stay in that room. We were really tired after our flight so thought we'll talk to the property manager and makemytrip after taking little bit of rest. Unfortunately, the bedsheets and pillows were so dirty that we couldn't even sit on the bed and we went out so we could sit somewhere and try to resolve this situation. During the time, we tried to explain the situation to MMT and property manager and were told that this matter will be dealt with the next morning and not in the evening. After repeated requests, we failed and had to settle with that disgusting, smelly room for the night. We used the scarves and other clothing we brought with us to sleep on the bed for the night. But it wasn't that easy to sleep after a tiring and exhausting night. We were woken up early in the morning by another group of guests who were talking in their room. It was so loud we couldn't sleep and got up with a terrible headache. When we stay in a resort or hotel room, it's natural to expect a little bit of noise but the walls were so annoyingly bad at keeping any sound on the other side of them. We checked out immediately in the morning and didn't get any refund from the property manager yet. We are talking with MMT to resolve this for us so I will update my review accordingly. Complete waste of money! DO NOT STAY HERE!

The only thing that is good about the hotel is that they have very good garden view rooms. The service is very bad. Beds are not comfortable at all. Room was not clean. Intercom was not working and hence I had to go to the reception for everything - there were no towels in the room. No water and glasses. When asked the service guy he was rude and said that he kept all these in the room and I am unable to find. He came and checked in the room and when nothing was found he got new towels and water without even apologizing. It looked like someone has used the room and then changed the room. Minibar was empty when we checked in and while checkout he said we have used and was charging us. Then after lot of discussion he realised that the room was used for an hour by someone and they used everything. Even without checking or cleaning he gave us the room. He was even charging us for dinner which we didn't order. We ordered only tea which was pathetic. He got us milk when we ordered tea and then it took half an hour for him to get tea!! Hi , So we checked in into this property on 25 december, the first impression by the name was it will be a good property however AC was’nt working and in the other room the AC was leaking an they has to put a bucket so that floor doesnt get wet . The worst part was the food service (CLOSED ALL THE TIME). The day staff was tooo slow and food not good at all. And the property owner was very rude, unprofessional and he was threatening us that we cannot leave the property and called some localites. Instead of listening out problems he was shouting ~ inka luggage bahar nahi jana chahiye , when we asked for dental kit they said check my website , we dont provide dental kits .
