We were a group of 16 foreign travelers who stayed at this hotel for 3 nights in mid-January 2025. Our experience was a mix of ups and downs.
First Impressions and Initial Challenges Unfortunately, our first impression was unpleasant. The hotel staff seemed unprepared to welcome us, and it took considerable effort to communicate regarding our reservation. Upon arrival, most of the rooms were not cleaned, with used bed covers and unkempt spaces, which was deeply disappointing, especially on a freezing night with sub-zero temperatures.
However, the hotel manager personally intervened, going room by room to ensure all accommodations were in order that night. This hands-on effort brought some relief, and the situation improved drastically over the next two days. We learned that the hotel was initially understaffed, but by the second day, a new team had been brought in to better address guest needs.
Food and Dining The food was a highlight of our stay. It was delicious, hygienic, and offered a good variety. Towards the end of our visit, the staff even inquired about our food preferences and made an effort to cater to our tastes, which we truly appreciated. However, breakfast service was delayed on two mornings, which caused disruptions to our plans. On the final day, the hotel made up for this by arranging breakfast an hour earlier, as per our request.
Location and Ambience The hotel is situated about 4-5 km from Manali’s main city hub, offering a peaceful retreat amidst stunning mountain surroundings. The views from the balconies were breathtaking, and the snowfall during our stay made the hotel appear magical. Its proximity to Solang Valley and Atal Tunnel is an added advantage, saving time for activities in these areas.
Facilities and Amenities The hotel lacks a lift, which may be inconvenient for some guests. Room heaters were available at an additional cost; while small, they provided some warmth but were insufficient to heat the rooms entirely. Hot water was powered by solar panels—some rooms had a continuous supply, while others experienced issues, though staff were quick to address them.
One significant concern was that the milk and coffee packets provided in the rooms were expired, which was unacceptable.
Rooms and Interiors The rooms were spacious, with cozy mattresses, blankets, and hot water kettles provided. The interiors were beautifully designed, adding a touch of elegance to the stay. Despite the challenges, the hotel has great potential, but it clearly needs better management and more service-oriented staff to deliver a consistently positive experience.
Summary While the hotel boasts stunning views, elegant interiors, and delicious food, the management and service issues made our stay an average experience. With improved staffing and attention to detail, this hotel could offer a much better stay for...

Read moreHotel Review: Disappointing Experience in Manali
I had high expectations for this hotel, but unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. • Amenities: The amenities were subpar, with many basic facilities either missing or poorly maintained. The room lacked essentials like proper heating, which is crucial in a place like Manali. The cleanliness was also below average, and the Wi-Fi was almost non-functional. • Pricing: The hotel is significantly overpriced for what it offers. For the rate charged, one would expect at least decent service and facilities, but the overall value for money was terrible. • Staff Behavior: Perhaps the most disappointing aspect was the staff. They were unprofessional, unhelpful, and seemed uninterested in addressing any concerns. Even basic requests were met with reluctance or outright neglect.
In summary, this hotel failed to meet even the minimum expectations. I would not recommend staying here, as there are far better options in Manali that offer good service and...
