Hotel New City Light — Hotel in Gujarat

I booked Hotel New City Light with managed expectations, knowing from the price that it wouldn’t truly be a 5-star experience. I anticipated a decent 3-star stay at best, but unfortunately, it fell far short of even that.

Why state you're a 5 star hotel when you're not even trying to achieve something sbem close to that?

The staff seemed uninterested and unhelpful throughout our stay. The windows and mirrors were filthy, and the towels were threadbare, clearly overdue for replacement. Despite booking for 2 adults and 2 kids, we were initially provided with only one towel, and even after requesting extras, they only provided just two more.

We booked three rooms, and each had a pervasive smell of urine coming from the bathrooms, making the stay even more unpleasant. We cut out stay short & checked out early.

With some care and attention to cleanliness and service, this hotel has potential, but it seems that these improvements are not a priority for the operators. I would not recommend this hotel and will not...

I honestly do not recommend this hotel. Rather, it can be called a nightclub. There was a birthday party going on all night. In the reception area there is a clear ban on alcohol, and in the corridor there are drunken people walking around. Despite the fact that it is quite neat here, I have to rate this hotel as the worst I have been in. From late evening to early morning people here loudly shouting . Early in the morning music is played. The staff does not do anything about the requests to silence this crud. Despite two attempts, the party continued at its best. By 11 pm I was told not to worry and that it was just a birthday party and would last a maximum of 30 minutes.
