Review for Café The Meet
I recently had an incredibly disappointing experience at Café The Meet that I feel compelled to share. While I had high hopes for a pleasant visit, the service I received was far below expectations, and the behavior of the manager only exacerbated the situation.
Upon arriving, I was greeted with a long wait despite the café being only moderately busy. After finally being seated, it took an unusually long time for our server to take our order. When our food did arrive, one of the dishes was incorrect. I brought this to the attention of our server, who seemed dismissive and offered no solution or apology.
The situation escalated when I requested to speak with the manager. Rather than addressing my concerns professionally, the manager was not only unhelpful but also displayed a dismissive attitude that felt rude and unprofessional. I expected a resolution or at least some empathy for the poor service we had experienced, but instead, I was met with defensiveness.
Given the subpar service and the unprofessional behavior of the manager, I believe a refund is warranted. I came in with the hope of enjoying a nice meal, but the entire experience left a sour taste. I hope Café The Meet can take this feedback to heart and make necessary improvements.
Overall, I cannot recommend this café based on my experience. It’s unfortunate, as it has the potential to be a great spot with the right management and...
Read moreWe visited this place with our friends today, and it was really crowded due to the weekend. We had to wait over 20-30 minutes for our turn. They clearly distinguish between international and Indian dining experiences, and the cafe area is separate. The woman at the entrance was the most frustrating part of our experience. She took our details and told us to wait in the lobby with several swings, but when we asked how long the wait would be, she claimed we hadn't booked a table.
Despite showing her our confirmation message stating we should wait 15 minutes, she insisted there was no reservation and directed us to wait in the lobby while the waiters cleaned tables. Eventually, she informed us that the available tables were in the cafeteria area since the international dining section was full.
Once in the cafeteria, however, the service was fantastic. All the waiters were attentive and helpful. Although some of the round tables had water damage, they assigned us a good one. We tried a variety of dishes, and everything was excellent. We had the four-cheese Napolitano pizza and a baked square pizza called Detroit pizza, as well as Asian dishes like steamed tofu jjajangmyeon, nasi goreng, and three-flavor noodles, which were just okay. The truffle oil fries were great. Overall, aside from the initial booking issues, the food experience was wonderful, thanks to the attentive...
Read moreJust had an absolutely delightful experience at Cefe De meet Siguiente. As a vegetarian, finding a multi-cuisine spot that genuinely excels in every category is a rare treat, and this place truly delivers. The food was a revelation. We tried the pizza , Turkish Falafel and soup and each dish was bursting with flavor, perfectly spiced, and clearly made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The menu is extensive, offering everything from Italian , maxican and south indian as well and they've mastered them all. Portions were generous, and the presentation was lovely too. And the coffee! Oh, the coffee. I'm a bit of a coffee snob, and their latte, cold brew was exceptional. Rich, aromatic, and expertly prepared – it was the perfect end to a fantastic meal. Highly, highly recommend Cefe De meet Siguiente for anyone looking for top-notch vegetarian food and...
