Where do I start with this hotel? It was an all-around nightmare of an experience, getting far worse than 1-star quality for 5-star payment.
We made it clear twice in our email communication with Noorul Islam that we were arriving with two young babies and lots of luggage, and would need an Innova or similar SUV. They agreed over hotel and then sent a Sedan anyway which couldn't carry half our luggage much less the babies. We had to wait at the airport for 30-40 minutes after a 30 hour journey across the world because they didn't keep their word on pickup car. Got allotted a SMOKING room with YOUNG BABIES. This hotel knew our check-in time, our arrival flight (that's how they could send a car), yet they couldn't be bothered finding a baby friendly room and keeping it ready. We had to wait at the reception for another 30 minutes while staff us told us "no available rooms on the ground floor, only room available is in the smoking zone", our while our young, sick and hungry babies tired after a 30+ hour journey were screaming to be fed. Linen was old and with stains in weird colors. Not enough bedsheets, towels, napkins (barely one of each), when we paid for a room occupancy of 3-4. The bathtub was held together with painters tape. I am not kidding. This is a supposed 5-star hotel, with stained walls, old and insufficient bathroom towels and bedding linen., and a worse than duct-taped bathtub. No microwave. No explanation for why there wasn't a microwave either. Good luck getting hot water for warming baby milk bottles. No refrigerator, there was a "mini-bar" in the room that barely held temperatures at 10 Celsius, good luck if you need to keep formula, breastmilk or medicines at 3-4 Celsius. Supposedly this is a 5-star hotel yet the staff balked at us when we asked why there wasn't a functional refrigerator in the room, as if it was an unreasonable ask. Breakfast food was barely ok. I've had much better food in other brand hotels (Hyatt/Hilton) locally that cost half the room rate. Extra bed charges slapped on for a nasty dilapidated bed, enforced even though we checked in at 4am, left at 10 am, and needed the extra bed to put babies on, not a third person (we were too busy with the babies to even...

Read moreHorrible reception desk service The lady Ruby, rudely asked for ID proof after 3rd day of checking in, even though she had visited me in the room many times. I'd proof was already given at the time of check in, she wanted to assure that I m a guest at hotel. I don't mind presenting the proof, problem was her tone. She called immediately to the room for asking it again. It was clearly stated that infant is sleeps in the noon time, no calls at that time. Again and again disturbance was made.
Now, for checking out, I had called and asked for bill to be prepared as I had small babies with me. It wasn't done so. While going to airpii, they inform at the front drop off area that only 1 car is provided, I have to pay for second car. I mean, imagine the service!! Someone travelling with twin infants and a child, forget hospitality, they don't even care to have a little insight about planning a airport drop off.
Things done, now I have to travel to ahmedabad again and I try to book a suite from their website, there are no photos, except one which doesn't give idea about difference between 2 kinds of suites, I msg and call them, today is 3 rd day of trying to make a reservation but they neither reply nor call back!!!!
Have noticed, leaky facets, algae rich shower mat, cracked bath tub, phone in bathroom was just pinned on wall without any wire attached. This is hotel near airport with guests staying specially who r travellers, yet there is no weighing scale for bags. I had great expectations from this place, but it's a hyped overrated...
