We stayed at the hotel for 2 days. As per our booking the breakfast was not complementary but we were not charged. The next day we called the concierge and the staff member who we spoke to was “Diljeet” to confirm if there is any bill for breakfast and we were told that the breakfast is included with the stay and we have no outstanding bill. We went for breakfast and while we sat and ate the lady at the breakfast desk informed us that we have to pay. We told her it’s included as told by your staff member in the morning and she went away. Later on 2-3 different people came while we were eating and constantly harassed us saying you have to pay even when we already told them we will talk to the concierge. It was extremely frustrating to be constantly harassed like this while you are eating. Immediately after breakfast we checked at the reception and were told that we don’t have to pay anything. We went to the room packed our bags and as we went for checkout a bill for ₹2078 was handed to us for breakfast. We called the manager who was a lady named “U KOHLI” and informed everything and as horrible and rude as she was she denied everything and refused to understand. She was extremely arrogant and instead of hearing us out kept asking for money. It is very easy for us to throw ₹2078 on their face but we argued why were we informed otherwise. They said that the bill gets posted after 5-7 minutes on which we argued that they should have told the same instead of saying that we don’t have to pay anything. When we enquired that yesterday we were not charged for the breakfast, the lady Ms. Kohli cleverly called the team and asked them to specially generate the bill. Every staff member refused to admit the truth and this lady Ms. Kohli kept asking for money which only displays how much Hotel Ramada needs money or is going bankrupt that they harass their customers for money even when their management is at fault. All I would say is that instead of staying at such a cheap hotel where customers are only treated as a source of earning, we would rather book an Oyo next time. Extremely disappointed with the service and miscommunication of management and the harassment that we had to go through. Hotel Ramada needs to hire qualified staff if they want people to visit.
