OYO 19387 Palace Guest House — Hotel in Gwalior

We had booked the hotel at rs. 650 but when we reached there the staff refused to give us room at that price. They demanded rs. 1000. We contacted oyo but the staff refused to talk to oyo customer care. However, oyo customer care assured us that they will refund the extra amount that the hotel was asking. The room was dirty and food was pathetic. When we asked for the bill they forced us to give them 5 stars. They said if we would not give them 5 stars they will not be giving us the bill. So we had to give 5 stars to the hotel in that context. Although, we got the refund from oyo but our experience at the hotel was very disappointing. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. They want customers from oyo but refuse to follow any guidelines. A pathetic place and...

I booked the hotel from Oyo of Rs 547 on 19 Oct 19, when I reached at hotel, they ask for Rs 800, I was going for some urgent work that's why I don't want to waste time to roam to search for another hotel, so I agreed but further the manager asked for Rs 200 as security deposit, I asked why, then he replied that if u r not give us 5 star rating then we will not refund ur amount as we have got penalties for that , if u give 5 star rating then ur 200 rupees will refunded, I shocked how a hotel can force a customer for 5 star rating. then I take my bag and gone to another hotel. Never book, i booked from oyo but when we reached they ask for more money as per him " Hume toh jada chiya" and ready to talk with oyo... Moreover when I had word with oyo, firstly they says you get discount on booking due to system error, moreover try to convenience me for other hotel when I agree the price they given is very high.... When I said oyo will have to bear the difference amount , not agree and discontected.... In a while I received msg the booking has been cancel... Even I didn't open the app....

So never trust oyo also,. I advice before went just call once to hotel for prices even your booking...
