SAFFRON HOTEL AND BANQUETS — Hotel in Haryana

I've been staying at this hotel since the past six years from time to time on work. It used to be a decent stay for a small town hotel. But I've seen it rapidly deteriorating and now it's the worst ever.||My experiences in this trip :-||a) No towel in the room. When I called the reception, no one came for two hours. When I reminded, I was told there are no dry towels and the boy had gone to get them. Then he came, with a bath towel only. I had to send him back to get a hand towel.||b) The bed covers had food stains on them. The pillows were dirty.||c). The service staff are untrained boys from the hills. They have no manners our courtesy. They make so much noise and shut out to each other in the corridor. I went out to tell them to quieten down, which they did for two to three minutes and then started again. They were sitting in the floor service room with the door into the corridor open and chatting loudly. I went and closed the door. After precisely five minutes they opened it again. I gave up.||d) It seems to me that the hotel's main income is from parties. There were two parties going on on the ground and first floors. When the DJs started at 8.30 pm, the noise was deafening in the second floor. I couldn't sleep till 11 pm.||e). I asked the reception at night as to what time would breakfast be served in the morning. I was told 7am. At 7.05 am I called room service to order breakfast and the phone was continuously engaged. After trying for 10 minutes, I went to the floor service and found the handset had been taken off the phone!! I asked reception and they said breakfast will be served at 8am, as the staff hadn't yet come due to rain. I asked what about the night staff? There reply I got was that there is none. The staff leave at 11 pm and come in the morning. No night staff?!! Cost cutting? And what about work related travelers who have to start the day early to make maximum use of time? No reply.||f) Anyway, I then went for my bath. I opened the door knob. There was no water from the cold water pipe. I opened the hot water knob and there was hot water, but then the knob wouldn't close! I then took a bucket and mug bath and when I left the room, the hot water was still running from the shower.||g). Now I ordered breakfast. I asked for aloo paratha. Not available till 11am. So I asked what do you have? I was told bread and eggs. So I ordered an omlette with toast. For 30 minutes no one came. I was getting restless because I had to leave for work. I called again and then came a cold omlette. Obviously the chef had done his bit in time, but the room service boys didn't care to deliver it to the customer, till reminded.||h). I left my room on the second floor and headed for the lift. On the way, I slipped in a pool of water in the corridor where there shouldn't have been any!!||So I leave it to your imagination whether I will every stay in this hotel again!||And yes. I've done many reviews on Trip Advisor. This is the first...

The reception guy literally asked us to go check the room ourselves when we asked them to show us the room before booking. Also they were not responsive enough. Some party was going on and they were all busy with that, didn't care about customer asking about rooms and details etc. The room we were given was a standard room, although they had executive rooms available in Mmt in the same rate as they offered the standard room to us in, but they refused saying they are booked. Later we saw them showing it to guests who reached them directly and not through online platforms. The standard room was pathetically unclean. The washroom had stains of toilet and public hair on the toilet seat. When complained they said it was just cleaned even after looking at the condition of the washroom and the room. We still asked them to get that cleaned. Their bedside runner was so dusty that when their staff was brooming, the dust coming out of it could be seen flowing in the air and he literally skipped the runner. The washroom had a bathtub which was full of hair. We could not use it after looking at it's condition. We kept asking for a water bottle as our 5 year old was thirsty but they kept saying we are sending for literally 40 mins, only when I asked them I will come pick it up they sent it. The food came after 40 mins of ordering it. Also it is over expensive. The kettle was used and dirty. They didn't change the bedsheet also, gave us the room as it is after someone had just checked out. The Ac was window ac which was terribly noisy. Some construction work was going on just outside our room and they didn't even care about the guests staying inside the room, started their work early morning which was such a disturbance. We were so tired as we were coming from Jammu and had to travel till Jaipur the next day, needed a good rest which was totally spoiled by the experience we got here. This hotel won't be my choice the next...

Very bad hotel nd no service at all......we were three ppl chkd in at night,in neame of extra bed dey gave just an mattress .... No proper linen ,only one towel given.,phone line was not working ,u had to go to reception everytime u need ,washroom was big but no hangers to keep Ur clothes or towels ,asked for towels twice got at the time of chkout..... Bfast was complimentary....nd charged while booking nd offering of bfast was either of thing in menu......no buffet......Oyo rooms are much better in terms of the charges nd bfast options..... Toiletries were just an soap...for 3ppl....

Ridiculous staff we ordered for water bottle all.the way after going to counter ...nd we got after 30 min.....

No at all recomended. ..for stay....

Don't believe the facade nd picture of the hotel nd do bookings......reality can b unexpected nd bizzare ....room allocated was 101 which was good for single occupancy nd we were asked to stay 3 ppl in dat small stinking room....when asked for other options dey said we don't have ....but the reality was at 11 pm also the MMT listing was dere as vacant .

Basically it's a marriage place where dey r least bothered about the rooms guest..nd all staff is dere to host the wedding functions......the hotel has more of banquets of different sizes from open to close but lacks seriously for guest staying in hotel.

It's not about d amount u pay , servce matters matters to greater extent.....keep up the poor work baja bros nd team saffron .

Surely one day u guys will pay for it....as customers are not fools...nd u can cheat nd fool anyone only on first visit bciz u will.necer get the chance of second visit to fool dem.....ever in...
