Peace holiday home stay — Hotel in Himachal Pradesh

Pros: The location is peaceful and gives you the feeling of living in the jungle. The host is friendly and always ready to help.

Cons: The rooms were very dirty, and basic things like hand wash, towels, etc., were not provided. There were huge spiders and insects in the rooms, and one big spider even fell on my bed while I was sleeping. The bedding was very uncomfortable — it felt like I was sleeping on a wooden mattress. I woke up with neck pain in the morning. There’s a difficult off-road stretch of about 500 meters to reach the parking area, followed by a 200–300 meter walk. The host can help you cover the 500-meter off-road part, but you’ll be dependent on them if you want to go out to the market or nearby places.

Yet only 600mtr from Chail main market, 500 motorable off road, 100mtr walking. We love to walk around, so it's not an issue for us to reach market when needed.

Service was awesome, Mr Manoj was very humble and soft spoken person, he guided us to location nearby.

Best part lots of jungle trails you can enjoy nearby this place. Rooms are spacious, food was simple and homely.

Two issues we faced 1) is wifi connection was very slow, if you really need for your office work you need to avoid this place 2) Cleanliness should have been better

I stayed here for 2 days and it was wonderful soaking up the peacefulness of this place. I was fetched and dropped off at the Chail bus stand free of charge. The owner Akshit is super attentive. He took me on hikes in the beautiful forest which is just beyond your doorstep. He served me home cooked meals which were delicious. Anything I wanted was seen to. The room is basic but has hot water and WiFi and the most amazing view from the balcony. I can't say enough how quiet it is here with only birdsong around you.
