The Cosmopolitan Hotels were born from the idea of bringing together people from a multi cultural hot pot into a common place and connecting them, very much like a city. It grew from the idea of how when we travel in trains we strike up a conversation with our fellow passengers. It could be anything - from the weather, to politics, movies to food. Sometimes entire conversations flow even without exchange of names. These travel connects are some of the happiest memories of my travelling in trains. This culture of connecting with people in the physical world is slowly waning. We at Cosmopolitan Hotels want to reignite the charm of meeting different people on one's sojourns. People have an instinct about whom they would like to interact with and whom they don't, but in today's busy world, this opportunity of interaction and meeting new people is there only when one is travelling. Cosmopolitan would like our guests to make the most of it by creating the social environment. Our Hotel lobbies are designed to be casual, quirky and laid back. The sophistication of a premium Hotel with modern rooms and amenities - Wifi, cloud beds, Central VRF Air condition, Lavish breakfast Buffet (15+ items), Centralised 24x7 Hot water. Our restaurants are all having projectors and screens to bring together people over sports, music and any other performances. Common interests often help people break the ice and connect more easily. Currently Cosmopolitan Hotels are operational at Indore (84 rooms) Jodhpur (69 rooms) and Madurai (60 rooms). We are having facilities in line with the best of 3 star Hotels. Had REQUESTED hotel staff Mr. Chetan (person who was at reception in evening/night shift) to provide a room for 15 to 30 mins just to get fresh and change before boarding my mode of transport to my home town. He bluntly said a NO and said the only thing he can provide is comman wash room area located near reseption i.e. main entrance to get fresh and pwd washroom for changing which was filled with hotel's all unwanted or wated junks and stuffs. He also said that if you need room to get fresh then you would have to pay a nominal fees for 30 minuites which would be RS 500. Myself and my wife reached Indore railway station in the early morning of 14th July 2017, and the next train for further journey was in the afternoon. After waiting for sometime in the waiting room we came out for some refreshments. We saw Cosmopolitan Hotel just next to Indore railway station and we entered inside. We were shown the way to the restaurant. We were very lucky to have dropped in here as there was a buffet breakfast for Rs.230/- per person and really a good and tasty items viz. Idli Sambar, Poha, Sandwitches, Fruit Juices, Puri Bhaji, Corn Flakes with milk and a few more, accompanied by nice Tea and Coffee. I had two cups of strong coffee which the waiter got it specially made from the kitchen. My wife had tea. All this was inclusive in the package. If one wants Masala Dosa they will serve you hot. On the cash counter the hotel Manager asked us whether we were locals and from where we are coming from and also informed us that the hotel has enough arrangements for parties, functions and get-to-gathers etc. We found the hotel very nice and so did the other waiters and staff etc. We had a very nice and a heavy breakfast which lasted for an hour or so, and was enough to keep us full for the whole day, as we had to travel further in train. I would always recommend this hotel for its nice food...
