Hotel Chit Chat Palace — Hotel in Jaipur Municipal Corporation

This place was a great find! It was the cheapest and best rated option we found and we chose it as we were getting a late train into Jaipur and wanted to stay somewhere within walking distance of the station. ||The room was big and clean (aside from few marks on the sheets- but we were in sleeping bag liners anyway). Shower good and air con worked perfectly. Room was quiet throughout the night and the location feels very safe. We also found an amazing restaurant around the corner which was a bit of a bonus (JK restaurant).||We extended our stay for 2 more nights based on our good experience.||Mohan at reception was a really helpful, friendly face who organised us a tuk tuk on our first day to see all the sites. We had such a great day, we then followed his advice on our second day of seeing some of the bazaars and he arranged tuk tuk to take us to the monkey temple at sunset.||Overall a really good stay and I would highly recommend it for backpackers or budget travellers to Jaipur.||Thanks...

Two year we stayed here too and that time we had a pleasant stay. This time staff was uninterested. TV suddenly had no channels because something with payment and if you flushed the toilet you had to jump or got wet feet. Price was way too high for the quality and service offered. They say they have free WiFi but that was 2 year ago. This time no WiFi at all.||||We were the only guest but still they charged us full day extra when we asked if we could extend the checkout time until evening because our train to Udaipur||There are much better places nearby with a lower price too. The hotel really needs to be cleaned. Everything was dirty, had to request all my sheets to be changed (as they hadn't been since previous guest and were covered in stains) toilet seat was covered in dirt, didn't even take a shower because of how dirty the bathroom was. Just checked out early and waiting till I get the next hotel. Also no windows, just a window to another internal part of the hotel, no natural light, very dark.
