Terrible Experience – Misleading Information & Poor Hygiene
I booked this hotel after seeing multiple positive reviews, but my experience was nothing short of a nightmare. First of all, this place doesn’t even feel like a resort. The rooms are tiny, and the pictures online are completely misleading.
I traveled with my toddlers, including a 10-month-old baby, and specifically requested a hotel with a proper centralized heating system. Upon check-in, I requested the heater to be turned on as my little daughter was shivering. The staff casually mentioned that the heater would only work after 8:30 PM due to "three-phase electricity." This was never communicated earlier! Even after requesting a bed heater, they initially refused, only agreeing after I escalated the issue through my travel agency, Swan Travels.
To make matters worse, when I finally got the bed heater, the bedsheets were in terrible condition—clearly unwashed for ages and emitting a horrible smell. That was the final straw! I immediately checked out within 30 minutes and booked another hotel at my own expense with the help of Swan Travels.
The most frustrating part? After this ordeal, I checked the reviews again and realized many of them were fake, copy-pasted, and clearly paid reviews. This hotel is misleading customers with false marketing rather than focusing on actual service.
Avoid this place at all costs! I would never recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and hygienic stay, especially if traveling...
Read moreThis is a great hotel. However it happens to be a little on the interior side from the main road. The distance between this hotel and Pahalgam is 13 kms. The rooms are great with amenities. The hotel staff is also amiable and helpful. Hot water is available in the bathroom for bath. But, they are in dire need of a new cook. We were served breakfast and dinner in the hotel. In dinner, soup, chicken, paneer, lentil and potatoes were available. Nevertheless, the chicken tasted like it was boiled and paneer was also below average. However, vegetable soup was delicious. In breakfast, our options were Maggi, bread and butter, bread and jam, oats and Poha. Poha wasn't upto the mark as their cook was on a holiday that day being the day of Eid. Overall the breakfast was decent.
SUMMARY You can consider this hotel, as the rooms are good and bathrooms are also clean. Just across the street you can find some activities...
Read moreWe stayed here for one day on November 30th, and I don’t understand why people gave such good reviews to this hotel. It was the worst hotel. The room was very small, it felt like a matchbox. We were told that it was centrally heated, and when they turned on the heater at 6 pm for 4 to 5 hours the temperature in the room became so high after that the oxygen level started to drop, and we began feeling itching and dizziness. We couldn’t control the room temperature, and it was very dangerous. We spent the whole night restless. The food was also terrible, the rotis were undercooked, and the food was bland, like it had just been boiled and served. The breakfast was the same. The location was also very far, and we didn’t find anything special about it. I felt like we made a mistake...
