No words to discribe the hospitality of DAR FAMILY. I went trough the reference of many of my friends. It was a trip with my son.

I can suggest this home stay for any ladies and families to feel like home and enjoy zabardasth kashmiri dishes prepared by didi.

The way Farooq Bhai ( owner of the homestay) took care of me and my son from the day one I planned my trip was owesome. He literally took care of us as a big brother. Not even a single moment me or my son felt we are away from home. As I was travelling with my son only , he himself came along with us for all sightseeing . From the moment he picked up us from the airport , we were part of the Dar family. The love and care extended by the whole members including his wife , children and carertaker Hassan bhai was something unforgettable in my life.

Room provided was very spacious neat and tidy with a very neat toilet. Windows of the room was opening to the beautiful lawned courtyard with roses and appletrees. Villa is situated in a very beautiful plot . Sipping a morning coffee under apple trees was an amazing experience.

Daily trip was well planned by Farooq Bhai. We did not have any difficulty during our trip. He was patient enough to bear my little shopping craving too.

Didi's home made Kashmiri dishes were lip smacking . I really wish to taste the Queen Apple curry once more which did prepared only for me . Everyday me and my son used to wait for the break fast and dinner time to see what is todays special :) .

During the day trips also Farooq bhai used to stop for washrooms and refreshments for us to make sure we are comfortable.

Care taker Hassan bhai was also very helpful. He always comes up with a smile on his face and Kashmiri Ghahwa ( one of my favourite drinks now ) in his hand once we reach home after our day trips.

While saying good bye on 7th day of my stay , I was literally feeling like leaving back a part of family back there .

I whole heartedly recommend this home stay to any lady travellers and families who wish to visit Kashmir. Its 200% safe and you will never regret .
