Disappointing experience:Echor kashmir holiday resort

I recently stayed at echor kashmir holiday resort and unfortunately, it was one of the most disappointing hotel experiences i've had in a long time. From start to finish, the service was subpar, and it left a sour taste in my mouth. First of all the location is so offbeat- they have advertised as 1. 2 kms from dal lake. Let me tell you it is not near dal lake. Every time the taxi driver/rikshaw would hesitate to drop at the location. The hotel staff is lousy and slow. I didn't get hot water on day one as they didnt have electricity. This hotel is way too overpriced for cheap toiletries and stinking rooms. Furthermore, the amenities promised on the hotel's website were either unavailable or in poor condition. It felt like false advertising, and i was left feeling cheated. To make matters worse, when i attempted to address these issues with the management, i was met with indifference. Instead of acknowledging the problems and attempting to rectify them, they simply brushed off my concerns and offered no apology or compensation for the inconvenience. Its a low class hotel, would rate 1.5-stars. Booked for 2 Family Rooms for 7 people. Very unprofessional of them to downgrade one room to single. Had a 45 minute argument, finally gave 2 rooms instead of one that was downgraded. Had to again go through the same for second night. Food was very bad. The utensils were stinking (Jugs, spoons, forks, plates etc.,). Spread was cheap and taste is bad. The approach road is bad, felt a bit remote from the Srinagar center (about 33 mins), wasn't a good value for money (15K per room).
