Capital O Hotel Vidya Residency — Hotel in Jammu and Kashmir

I had a higher expectation from the hotel considering the online reviews. But it turned out to be a very average place located inside a narrow lane. Room was just about ok for a night stay. Window opens at another building just a couple of feet away. Bathroom was stinky. Worst part was they could not provide a cup of early morning tea neither hot water in the morning for bathing. There was a power-cut so geyser was not working. so i requested for just a bucket of hot water from the stove....even that could not be provided. Tourists have fixed time for yatras so if such facilities are not provided in time it is disappointing. but the staff were otherwise quite courteous. Price is reasonable and if you are on pilgrimage and ready to overlook certain shortcomings for a day or two then the place is ok for a night stay. but better options are...

I had a very bad experience and worst customer service ever. I don't think i can make a complaint because a complaint is made on a particular point but when everything is bad it goes beyond complain.||||Whether it is fan malfunctioning or untidy cups or no restaurant service in-house or bad walls or customer service or no wi fi etc etc i just cannot keep on saying. I think i got mislead by your content on hotel booking portals. ||||The entrance is through a very narrow untidy small road, I regret staying in here. It is really a pathetic hotel. Location is inside some interior village and you will have to go through some narrow lanes to reach the hotel. Service is too poor. Rooms and bathrooms are not clean. They serve one or two day old foods in the hotel. Every time you order tea or food, you will find dirty cups and utensils. Even if you book an AC room, the AC will work under the control of the hotel officials and not at your wish. In the midnight they switch it off. You would get only one towel in the room, even if you are two or...
