Hotel Aashirwad — Hotel in Jammu and Kashmir

This hotel looks okay from outside but once you enter inside the room you will found it worse than Dharmshala.||Hotel Manager Mr. Rathore is stupid, irritating and intolerable person. I booked this hotel for 2 days (15th and 16th March 2016) with breakfast and dinner. I did this booking long back (9 month back) that time could not find better option as many hotels were not available. When I entered into the hotel, staff do not have any information about my booking. They spoiled 30 minutes in confirming the same. After that I got a room 302 (second floor). In room I observed bed sheet and pillow covers were yellow. Bed sheet had a long cut which was not visible initially because of blanket. Bath room was dirty and bathroom window glass was missing. That time it was too much cold because of rain. Glass and tray was dirty. Many places plaster was coming out from the walls.. ||||WIFI is not available in the hotel when I asked for it, manager told me the name of network (DLINK). I was able to find near by hotels network but could not find this hotel network on 2 mobiles. It was a simply fraud with customers.||||I asked for dinner then Manager told we have buffet but will server you in room only. I could not understand this statement. Dinner menu was fixed (worse dry Chapatis without butter, rice, Dal and mix veg). ||After dinner we had a plan to sleep around 10 PM as we had to wake up early for Darshan. But we were not able to sleep as carpenter working was going on near by my room. I was surprised about the work as it was 10 PM. I requested couple of times to stupid Manager and on reception to stop the work. But they simply ignored it. Then I had to call on Goibibo hotline number and had to hang up on call for 30 minutes to stop this work (ticket number #1715530). ||||Next day after noon when we came back from Darshan and we asked about lunch. They provided the menu and asked for selection. We went to room and called for few dishes from menu. We got the reply that we have same menu what ever we have provided in dinner. What is this, why you have provided the menu if you do not have any option. Finally we have ordered the lunch in near by hotel "Ma Veshno Devi" and I found few guess of my hotel were doing the lunch there only.||||In evening I found the same carpenter work noise again. But I ignored it as I have...

THEY dont LISTEN TO PPL WHO BOOKED ONLINE AS DEY KNW U WONT GET REFUND... and other reasons are : 1; Far from the main katra market.. So you have to pay 200 rs (either with auto or cab) everytime you go to the market.. 2: PATHETIC CONDITION OF FOOD SERVICE: they dont have a restaurant (not even near by) and so they cant provide u with proper food due to lack of staff..( they will give you proper menu but wen u order it ..after half an hour they return back telling u its not available...and again u order something and again the same thing happens..and at last they tell you that food is not available..and u hv to rush to the katra market) 3: Cabs are available if u pay 200 rs/- fare and not for free and its not available everytime: And u hv to visit katra market definitely ...so all the discounts u r getting are lost that way... 4: Service is extremely poor... Even for drinking water u have to wait for Half an hour... 5: NO BACKUP FOR AC AND GYSERS : the moment electricity goes.. ac.. tv and geyser facility goes too 6: The manager is not at all cooperating : If u hv done online booking...he knows u cnt cancel it..he wont listen to u ...For a single room he will allow only 2 adults and no children above 5 years.. n if u ask him for extra bed he will charge double as compared to other hotels in katra,,.. which simply means dat he knws u hv paid online nw u cnt get refund n he cn impose any cost he wants... we were four people... mom and dad were only allowed in dat room we booked and we had to 1200 rs (per day) extra for me (age 18) and my brother(age 12) to stay in d same room wich...

Extremely Horrible Stay

This hotel room charges are cheap because even stay, hospitality is also CHEAP.

Bathroom - Floor is wet when they provide you room. Some sort of Bad smell comes from bathroom moreover No exhaust available just small window. It feels as if i am in Village. Toilet seat is also wet when they provide you room. No Hot water available for Bath.

Beds - Bedsheet provided by them was dirty & when asked to replace they said its new one. We had to force them to give new ones. Blanket provided by them smelled bad.

Rooms - I had Super Deluxe Room which was spacious enough & thus Bathroom size was compromised incomparison to Normal Rooms.

Breakfast - Only complimentary thing which was Good.

Hospitality - Very Bad. The staff boy was arrogant. We came back from Yatra at early morning i.e. 4-5am & staff boy was sleeping. For him his sleep was more important than hospitality of guests staying there.

Location - You will have to take Auto for Hotel who will OVERCHARGE you. Its not walkable distance...
