Hotel Milad — Hotel in Jammu and Kashmir

MakeMyTrip booked this hotel for us in our Kashmir package. We stayed here for one night in Deluxe non-ac room.

Good things: The hotel staff is courteous and helpful. But expect the staff asking for tips as you checkout. The hotel location is in central city. You will get auto/taxi easily.

Bad things: The rooms here are very basic with no ventilation and congested. The colors in the room adds clostophobia. Food: The food here is not good. We ordered coffee and bread butter in room. Initially they said our kitchen staff is busy making dinner buffet so it will take time. After 15-20mins they delivered the order. The coffee was horrendous.. we couldn't even finish it. Bread butter was ok but not that good. Morning breakfast buffet doesn't have much options. Paratha, Poha, bread, tea/coffee that's it. Their dining is in the basement where hygene is issue. We didn't have breakfast either.

We were disappointed by this hotel as we were having different expectations for a 3 star hotel. This is a very basic type of hotel where you can just stop and go. Don't expect luxurious stay here. It could be good for a group of friends but I would not recommend this hotel for a family as it's very basic with poor food quality and...

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Royal Milad hotel in Srinagar for two nights, and it was a wonderful experience. The hotel offers a comfortable and enjoyable stay with its excellent amenities and attentive service.

We booked this hotel through Goibibo for summer vacations this month only bcoz hotel listed in amenities section that it have facilities for person with Disabilities. The same was also ensured by the owner as well manager of hotel before confirming booking. But, it was nightmare for us on reaching the hotel as there was no wheelchair in the hotel, no ramps and worst the washroom of the room was not wheelchair accessible. Both hotel as well as Goibibo turned hostile and refused to helps us. They robbed us through booking with fake facilities for differently abled person and turned apathetic to our genuine concern. Our entire trip was spoil so I request visitors -don't trust Goibibo and such hotels and always double check by seeking videos of such facilities from the hotels.
