Hotel Nedou's — Hotel in Jammu and Kashmir

We were 3 families stayed here for 2 nights in their Standard Non-AC rooms.

PROS: The views from the hotel are mesmerizing. The food quality here is excellent. The complementary breakfast also has multiple options with good quality and taste. The staff is courteous and very helpful. The rooms are equipped with required amenities like heaters, hot water etc.

CONS: The hotel is situated on a small hill. The rooms are at a higher level than restaurant for which you have to walk the stairs. Our rooms were in their H type which were the farthest from restaurant. The views were fansastic from there but coming back from restaurant was tiring. If you have kids or elderly people with you, I recommend take the nearest room to the restaurant.

Overall this property has carpet on the floor which is a maintenance nightmare. Although the hotel staff tries to maintain hygiene but the carpet continously has that smell. If you have clostophobia, this carpet smell will add to it.

Everything here is expensive. The food, their services, everything. 100 rupees for a single chapati, 750 rupees for dal khichadi. 110 for a water bottle. Our food bill for 2 nights was around 8,200 and we merely had soups and dal khichadi as we all were not feeling well. This hotel also serves alcohol but the prices are not worth paying. The cheapest Old monk 30ml peg is around 380 rupees. The bonfire charges are 4000 rupees per hour without any food included. One of our family had an emergency for their kid which needed medical attention. The hotel cab driver demanded 2000 rupees for hardly 7kms distance travelled to-fro hospital. Later is was negotiated to 1500 rupees which is still more.

Although the location of this hotel is a pro but it could be a con depending on the situation. It's away from a marketplace. As I said above, we had a medical emergency and we were in panic as nothing was near this property.

My Name Is Mahesh khushalani I Had Booking of 16th&17th But We did late Checkin On 16th May 2024 Evening by 7pm They Waited Us for Almost 40min Outside Area Where It Was Too Cold we were 2 couples They Dont Even Bothered Asking Us For Any Refreshments.After 10min I Asked Manager To Atleast Send Our Ladies Inside Wating Area He Told Us To Go In Dinning Area For A While But There Also there F&B Manager Asked Rudely Why You Are Sitting Over Here .According To Them They Updated Us In Villa But When I Got In It Was Too Old Bathroom Tiles Were Broken Cupboard Door Was Hanging Taps Were Loose.It Was Raining that Night Weve to Go For Dinner At There Dinning Area We Asked For Umbrella That Was Also Broken & Big Hole On it.They Provide Only 2×500ml Water Bottles Rest Everthing is Chargeable.Food Was Too Bad in Morning Breakfast Toast Machine Was Not Working.We've To Go Through Backside Road For Dinning it Has No Lights & Too Slippery.Ive Heard Alot About Nedous Thats Why I Booked It But This Place Is Too Hyped Not Worth It.Staff Is Too Harsh there Is No One To Look Around Guests.Wifi Never Works Here.Its Running on...

Hotel staffs are aggressive, we went to Kashmir for honeymoon and stayed in this hotel for 1 night, During checkin one person offered me candle light dinner tonight which was 10k as they demanded, as I refused for that his behaviour suddenly changed rooms are not maintained properly, bad smell😰, horrible food they have given chicken biryani costs 900rs, chicken pieces are minimum 5 days older(I have added pictures) now if they want to charge 900rs how they can give such a unhygienic food and you Mr Cheff I don’t know your name but listen you ediot please don’t give such kind of food to your guests we r not beggers ok, just go through the price in the hotel menu they r charging like 7 star hotel and you r providing food like street food(I swear on me Iam not telling lie, I have pictures of the chicken pieces) Roomboy Javed was friendly in nature, overall the hotel is not recommended better to choose...
