I have stayed in this houseboat with my family, we hired a three bedroom houseboat and the houseboat was like a palace of a king. We had a private dinning room, drawing room, varendha and sun deck. We used to have the tea on the top of houseboat which others houseboat refuse as there sun deck is not maintained as nigeen beauty has. The care taker was very friendly and the hospitality of Arshid bhai was awesome. The food was very tasty and homely cooked. There was running hot water for 24 hours. This is one of the best Houseboat in Srinagar. I had a dream to stay in one bedroom houseboat and I searched whole nigeen and dal lake but I could not find one bedroom exclusive houseboat. It is only here that I found a one bedroom exclusive and houseboat. This is completely luxurious with private sundeck, varendha, sitting room and drawing room. The service was very great and upto the mark. The food was very tasty and homely cooked. We really enjoyed a lot and had an unforgettable experience. We had booked 4 rooms with them 2 months in advance at an exorbitant price. We had clearly discussed with them the Food Menu we required, they agreed on providing the same. But, as we stayed, the arrogant owner Mr. Arshid, showed his true colours. Poor quality stale food with only one option was provided. Complaints fell on deaf ears as they offered lame excuses. The owner is highly arrogant with zero sense of hospitality. We told him we would recommend him if he doesn't deliver his promises. He clearly told he would never care about not being recommended.
