Pk cottage — Hotel in Jammu and Kashmir

PK Cottage is one of the most hospitable stay that one may find in and around Pahalgam. The host, Uzair Bhaiya, is a gem of a person, who welcomes and greets you like a family. He is extremely kind, cooperative and on his toes all the time. We were a group of girls staying at the cottage and he ensured our safety to the tee. From personally attending us to making things available for us in no time, he made us feel at home. The rooms are extremely spacious and clean. The view is magnanimous, you get to witness the mountains above and stream below, the moment you step outside the gate. The cottage comes with an added garden that allows you to walk bare feet on daisies and enjoy the bliss of nature to the fullest. I think everything about this cottage was too good to be true and we couldn't possibly thank Shafiq bhaiya, (the Masterchef, who blessed us with soul-satisfying freshly cooked dishes) enough for having recommended this place to us and ensuring we fall in love with Pahalgam more than Srinagar. The owners, Uzair ji and his childhood friend who manages the cottage are awesome! They went out of the way and made sure we are comfortable and guided us on all the aspects☺️.

The cottage is situated right in front of the river and you have a big lawn in the property with sitouts in the ground floor to sip your coffee and watch the mountains in front of you with the sound of the river. You also have parking for your car in the property.

During the sunset you could just cross the bridge which is opposite to the property, sit and relax next to the river.

It has running hot water 24/7 and also has a bed heater which is too good.

This stay is awesome and away from the hustle and bustle of city life. It gives us an heritage feel!

Wonderful Stay at PK Cottage

We recently stayed at PK Cottage, and it was a truly delightful experience. The location is beautiful, with a serene river flowing right in front of the cottage, offering a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The lawn area was perfect for spending quiet mornings.

The hospitality was top-notch; the hosts made us feel very welcome throughout our stay. The cottage is conveniently located just a 3-4 minute walk from the stand where you can easily catch taxis to the main market. However, it’s important to note that public taxis are available only until 7 PM. After that, it can be a bit difficult to find transportation, which we did experience one evening.
