WelcomHeritage Grand, Srinagar — Hotel in Jammu and Kashmir

I visited Kashmir in September'23 for a 6D 5N trip. I had initially booked Welcome Heritage Grand for 2 nights, but ended up extending for the rest of the 3 nights too, which I'll explain in my review. From the manager Mr. Irshad to the housekeeping staff, each and every one was extremely polite, courteous and well behaved. A big thanks to Mr. Irshad for upgrading our room category. I'll rate and review the hotel on all counts: The food- I personally haven't stayed at a hotel more flexible than this when it comes to food. We have lots of specifications regarding food and the restaurant staff was really patient and kind to meet of all them the best way they could, which is commendable. Even when we had to leave as early as 7 am in the morning for our trip, we got neatly packed breakfast. Food quality and taste-4/5, restaurant service-5/5. The property and rooms- The property is a compact one with a well maintained lawn where we took some relaxing walks post dinner. Has outdoor seating as well. The rooms are newly constructed with the best quality linen, good furniture and clean bathrooms. Overall-4/5. The location- 15 minutes drive to the airport, but a bit far off from Dal Lake. People looking to stay close to the airport, do not go elsewhere. We did not face any problem though, because Srinagar does not have heavy traffic. Overall-3.5/5 Hospitality and services- 5/5 or maybe more than that. Welcome heritage Grand Srinagar lives upto the true meaning of hospitality. Do not give a second thought if hospitality is your priority. I had planned a night's stay in Pahalgam but instead chose to return from Pahalgam and stay the 5th night at Srinagar itself because of my comfort level at WH Grand. I had the pleasure of staying at WelcomHeritage Grand Hotel in Srinagar for four nights, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience. From the moment I arrived, the service was impeccable, making me feel truly welcomed and cared for. The rooms were not only comfortable and beautifully designed, but also spotlessly clean, ensuring a restful stay.

Amazing stay at the WelcomHeritag Grand Srinigar. The hotel is new and originally we were hesitant to book given that; however we are so glad we did and the stay exceeded all our expectations. Particularly loved the classy and custom decor, including the tea room, restaurant and garden with an added plus being the lovely flower arrangement in the lobby. The food is excellent and the chefs go out of your way to take into account your preferences. As for the rooms — they’re modern and comfortable equipped with all the amenities we like from a smart TV to effective AC (hasn’t always been our experience)! To top it all off though, we must really commend the owner, Talat, and his staff who went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful and to cater to our requests - we also particularly enjoyed learning more about how this hotel came to be and its plans for the future.
