White cottage — Hotel in Jammu and Kashmir

I’m not a robot or hired review writer, I’m purely a traveler. What the experiences I have had at White Cottage, Shrinagar, Kashmir, that I have shared here. I had been to this property on 09.05.2024, stayed for 2 days with family – friends. The reception counter staff, Room Attendants all were very cooperative, courteous, especially the owner, Mr. Moosa! He was waiting for us at midnight to receive! Really wonderful, very cool and cool man. He guided us a lot about route, places to visit etc.. a very nice gentleman. This cottage is bit away from main road, situated in a residential area, very narrow road, but no traffic hustle bustle. Very calm and quiet place. Good location, rooms are well maintained. For middle and upper middle class people it is a very good and comfortable place to stay without any problem. Only one negative point is parking, no place to park our vehicles! I thank whole heartedly the staff and owner of this property for their services, I certainly refer to others to use this place for their stay. And I’m very sure, I prefer to stay at the same property, if I travel again on this way. It’s worth...

my mother and her friend (both 60+) visited srinagar in april 22 and stayed for a few days at white cottage (moosa house). their stay was absolutely fantastic and moosa family took exceptional care of them. there are no doubts in my mind that the moosa family at white cottage is the provider of the warmest hospitality and long lasting memories for travellers seeking the most authentic and heart warming experiences in the valley. i highly recommend this place to all potential travellers to the valley and i whole heartedly thank this great family for the beautiful memories they have given to my mother and her friend. I had a Very bad experience staying here. It's not a proper hotel even.. utss just an old bunglow converted to room with poor hygiene, staff is not good, they charged us 3 folds for just an extra beding. Bad quality breakfast The staff literally stairs at you angrily if you politely ask for a cup of tea at breakfast. This pathetic property has been given to us by our pathetic travel agency ZIPPGO TRAVEL AGENCY They cheated on us we paid them for 4 star properties and they gave us c grade...
