It is decent hotel, service staff are helpful and polite. The rooms are large and decently maintained, you may find few of bathroom fitting broken or lights not working. It has restaurant, which serves veg and non-veg, food quality is good. If serve food, based on your requirement like for babies.||Now few negative points.||Restaurant charges 14% VAT on full bill, while it should on 40% of the bill amount.||I booked the 2 AC rooms online via cleartip. I required 2 more AC rooms, but the website showed no more rooms available. So, I called the hotel and asked about the rooms, they told that rooms are available and you can come here and book, no need to book online.||When I reached hotel on the booking day, the staff at reception, told me that they don't have any booking information and no AC rooms are available. He told that it is mistake of cleartrip and cannot help. He told me that AC suits are available and if you want you can book that. I was shocked to hear this, I had argument with him, but he was unrelenting. ||Then I called cleartip and told them the whole thing, the cleartrip representative informed that they had verbal communication with hotel staff after that the booking was confirmed. He asked me hold the call and called the hotel staff and told him when and with whom the verbal confirmation was done. After this the hotel staff gave me 2 AC rooms, I asked him how rooms are available now, he didn't reply.||I wanted 2 more AC rooms so asked for it, and told him I had called the hotel earlier for this. But again he told me that he doesn't have any more AC rooms, he has AC suits and non-AC rooms and he can give me AC suits at some discount. Lastly I felt it is better not to argue with them and booked two non-AC rooms. ||The non-AC rooms where not good, had to get one room changed as electricity was tripping after few minutes. In other non-AC room fan was not giving any air. AC rooms where good. Overall staff behavior while we stayed was good, except for argument at the time...

Read moreThe service of the Hotel was very poor...I booked one Super Delux room for my staying at Deoghar but unfortunately met a horrible experience there....They didn't provide any basic kits such as toilet or saving kit like others hotels are offering at the cheaper rate from them..Towel which was provided by them was very dirty and poor quality..They were also fails to provide us hot water and whenever i approached to them they are just ignoring it...Their room service intercoms were as malfunctioned..Overall a horrible and pathetic experience was encountered by us during our stay there. Therefore I'll not recommend or suggest anyone for staying Raj Hotel during Deoghar visit, you may get many good alternatives options nearby the place at a cheaper price and better...
