This is definitely NOT a 3.5 star hotel. 1 or 2 at most. The furniture was worn and scratched. The bathroom faucet sprayed water out of a leak whenever you turned it on (which landed on the toilet tissue). The room safe was locked when we arrived, and I called the front desk to have someone come open it. It took two calls to get someone to come. (The front desk didn't seem to know there was such a thing in the room.) The WiFi service was spotty at best. Multiple complaints to the front desk were ignored ("...what can I do?"). The worst problem however was the lack of hot water. The first night we came in late from our tour. No hot water at all. After multiple calls to complain, and walking to the front desk myself, over a period of an hour, we finally got water that was slightly above room temperature. The second night we had only cold water. Breakfast was OK but not great, and the staff there seemed to attempt to give good service. We only stayed the second night because our tour package included two nights there. If we were paying ourselves, we would have left after the first night. After we left, we complained to our tour agent, and he said that the hotel claimed that we had not lodged any complaints in their log book. The staff controls the log book, and they didn't think any of our complaints were a problem.||Avoid this place. The price isn't worth...

I recently stayed at Mapple Abhay, a 4-star hotel located in Jodhpur and unfortunately, my experience was not up to par. While the hotel had a good location and a decent overall ambiance, there were several issues that detracted from the experience.

One of the most significant problems was the hotel's outdated infrastructure, which was in dire need of repair. The building itself looked quite old, and there were visible signs of wear and tear throughout the hotel, including the rooms. In addition, there was no hot water available, which made showering and bathing a rather unpleasant experience.

Moreover, the service quality at Mapple Abhay was poor, to say the least. The staff did not seem particularly interested in providing a high level of customer service, and it was evident that they were not well-trained in hospitality. To make matters worse, the front desk staff was unprofessional dressed and gave off a creepy vibe, which made it challenging to feel at ease in the hotel.

Overall, while Mapple Abhay had the potential to be a pleasant place to stay, the issues with infrastructure, hot water availability, poor service quality, and unprofessional staff made my stay far from enjoyable.
