Review: I recently had the pleasure of staying at Bluefin Stay in Gokarna, and I must say, it was an experience beyond compare! From the moment I stepped into the premises, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality that instantly made me feel at home.

The accommodation provided was not just comfortable, but it exceeded my expectations in terms of cleanliness, amenities, and overall ambiance. The rooms were spacious, well-maintained, and tastefully decorated, providing the perfect retreat after a long day of exploring the beautiful town of Gokarna.

However, what truly sets Bluefin Stay apart is the impeccable service and hospitality offered by the staff, particularly Puneeth Anna. His genuine warmth, attentiveness, and willingness to go above and beyond to ensure the comfort and satisfaction of guests were truly commendable.

Avoid at All Costs

If you're looking to ruin your holiday, this is the place to stay. From the moment we checked in, it was one disaster after another. First, the room was absolutely disgusting. There was a foul, musty smell that made it hard to breathe, and it was clear it hadn't been properly cleaned in ages. The blankets on the bed were stained and smelled terrible, and I honestly felt more comfortable sleeping in my clothes than under them. The bathroom was even worse. Not only was it filthy, but there was no hot water at all. A cold shower is the last thing you want after a long day of travel, and it was shocking that they couldn't even provide this basic amenity. The safety issues were a huge concern. The electrical switches in the room were faulty, and the lack of proper earthing was a serious shock hazard. It felt incredibly unsafe, and I was constantly worried about getting hurt. To top it all off, the owner was incredibly rude and unprofessional. They charged us extra money without any clear reason, and when we tried to question it, they became hostile and dismissive. There was absolutely no sense of hospitality. So basically, I had been to Gokarna for only 1 night stay. Just for the weekend. And i had booked a tent stay. Honest review, there are rooms as well on the property which I'm not gonna comment on but the tent stay was not good. The mattress was just a carpet and a styrofoam which did not help. I'm not sure ifllllllll they clean the bedsheets once checkout is done. The location of the property is good, but it's better if you travel on a bike or rent a bike. The road is too narrow. Washrooms are not good. There is no force in the toilets to flush (even after multiple flushes "your business" keeps floating). No hot water availability, it stinks and it's not regularly cleaned. Only 1 single switch board on the property for you to charge your electronic goods. The switch board has two wires and you'll get electric shock if you come in contact with those wires by mistake. There is no parking on the property, you'll have to park your car around 600m away and come. Nights are pretty cold (because we travelled in December)and they provide one thin bedsheet, that too, 2 occupancy tents will have only 1 bedsheet which will not be enough for 1 person. It hardly covered my whole body even though I was the only one using it. No food available at the property,. you'll have to go to the neighbouring cafe or restaurant....
