I recently used a Coorg taxi service for multiple transfers during our trip, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the experience. From the moment we landed at Mangalore Airport to our final drop-off at Gavadana Resort, every ride was smooth, comfortable, and stress-free.

Our journey began with a pickup from Mangalore Airport to Coorg, and the car was immaculate—spotlessly clean, air-conditioned, and incredibly well-maintained. It felt more like a premium travel experience than a regular taxi ride. The driver was punctual, courteous, and extremely professional. He navigated the scenic but winding roads with great skill and ensured our comfort throughout the long journey.

During our stay in Coorg, we used their service twice more: once from Wilderness Resort to Coffee Bean Resort, and then again from Coffee Bean Resort to Gavadana Resort. Each time, the cabs were in excellent condition, and the drivers were consistently polite, punctual, and very knowledgeable about the local area. They even offered helpful travel tips and shared insights about the best places to visit and dine in Coorg.

A special mention goes to the owner Arafath of the taxi company, who personally ensured that everything was arranged seamlessly. DOES NOT DESERVE 5 STARS!! Did not have a good experience with this service. 3 different drivers attended us in 4 days trip. First of all, 1 driver should be assigned for a group for a trip. The driver should build a rapport with the group. The 3rd driver who dropped us from Coorg to Mysuru airport did not even know the directions properly. I had to tell him the directions to airport from google maps. Also, his driving was rash. He did not even know about any good place to eat and took us to really unhygienic and crowded places. And no surprise we were unable to have our lunch. Seriously we felt our lives were at risk while he was driving. Additionally, we were charged extra. The distance from our hotel to airport was 130 kms. We took a deviation to Mysuru palace which we could not even visit due to crowd. Still we covered a distance of 128 kms including the deviation which was less than what was decided. And we were charged 500 rs extra than what was decided, for covering lesser distance. Ridiculous! The owner said with conviction that we travelled 100 kms extra. They simply lied. Not to forget, we skipped a place on our tour which was 110 km from our hotel. So, we should have been charged less. And they had the audacity to ask for 5 star after giving this kind of customer...

Right from the very beginning Mr. Arafat comforted us of a beautiful tour to Coorg/Madikeri and around for a 3N4D visit when I talked to him of our apprehension of visiting the places in rainy season of July. I,a senior citizen, accepted the assurance and started with my better half from Bangalore on 26th. I should not say Lohith, the driver of the car Mr.Arafat provided, was an experienced and good driver, he is a person of good knowledge of people, place, culture, history of his own state Karnataka and other adjoining states. He has a good knowledge of culinary tastes of people of Kodagu region. He drove us to places where authentic food was available. Kodagu(Coorg) is the place where great sons of India General Kariappa, Chief of Army staff and General Thimayya hailed from.

Regarding vehicle Toyota Etios provided by Arafat, it was good and immaculate in condition. Mr. Arafat came to meet us in a coffee plantation farm. We are charmed to his good demeanor.

Our journey was not only great value for money but also worth remembering for what we have experienced in Coorg amidst passing rains.
