Buffet restaurant at club mahindra madikeri. Have tried their dinner buffet. The ambience is good, hygiene is also very good but the food doesn't go well. Have tried many items and nothing is so great to write about. They have a seperate non-veg section which is the most disappointing section. Chicken 65 is burnt. They don't have any boneless non veg-item. Also, no mutton dish in the menu (no starter and no gravy). There are plenty of vegetarian dishes. Palak saag was ok, bhindi with coconut gravy is too sweet. I like their millet sugar free muffin and shahi tukda in deserts. The staff is really nice and quick and they deserve 5 star rating but ultimately it's food which matters the most. With a price tag of 1690+ taxs per person, I personally doesn't like it as I have tasted best of coorg in other restaurants in town. We had been for buffet lunch with family. Had good time. Food was average. Not that great for a 5⭐ restaurant. Limited dishes for non veg (1 fish gravy, 1 chicken gravy & chicken stew, chicken sukka), live counter available for fish fry and roti/ naan. Have different sections for veg, non veg and deserts.

When u compare for some of good buffets like barbeque nation / Absolute barbeque in Bangalore this doesn't match to their level.

In Mercara this is fine. Have a lot of room for improvement.
