Fourseason frankcottage — Hotel in Karnataka

We booked a double bedroom room for 3 nights using Agoda app based on previous rating. My review as follows LOCATION: It is located in heart of the city with residence building around. This makes stay very safe and almost all top rated Chikmangalur restuarant and shops are accessible. All the major tourist spots exist in 2 ghat road. These two roads are accessible within few kms drive. If you are a person looking for safety and good food for morning and night, this would be apt. But if you are looking to stay within forest zone/hill with lake/hill view,then this is not your choice. Walkable distance to main road but not sure on bus routes. ROOM: The rooms are located in second floor and need to use stairs(elderly people need to keep in mind). These were newly built hence, all piece and parcel looks blister. Beds, pillow, bedsheet were clean. Bathroom were super clean and feels like home. Have both solar and electric geyser for 24hrs water facility. HOSPITALITY: Land owner family stays at first floor and reachable at anytime. The host is so friendly in guiding us with itenery, restaurant suggestion and other queries. I generally don’t write feedbacks, but the warmth and hospitality we experienced at Savitha’s homestay truly compelled me to drop one—they absolutely deserve the recognition!

Savitha was an exceptional host—kind, accommodating, and thoughtful. Our bus from Bangalore reached Chikmagalur early, and she was kind enough to allow us an early check-in. The rooms were spotless, the linens fresh, and the washroom very clean—something we really appreciated, especially in the rainy weather.

Even after we checked out on Sunday morning, she let us store our luggage so we could explore the day without any hassle. When we returned in the evening (soaked from the rain!), she graciously offered us a room to change before our journey back.

We were four girls, with of course a little extra luggage for just a two-day trip—typical😂! When we struggled to fit it all in one auto, her family even offered to drop us at the bus stand. Such genuine hospitality is rare to find.

We had the pleasure of staying at the Four Seasons Frank Cottage, and it was one of the best home stays we have ever experienced. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the friendly and welcoming owner, who made sure that we had everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

We stayed in the penthouse, which was simply breathtaking. The views from the room were extraordinary, and the ventilation was perfect. We could sit on the balcony for hours, simply taking in the beauty of the surroundings.

In addition to the wonderful accommodations, the owner was also incredibly helpful in suggesting the best food items to try in town.
