Treebo Alaka Rester Homestay — Hotel in Karnataka

I stayed here for 2 nights with my family. Going by the excellent reviews online I expected this place to be clean and much to my surprise it was anything but clean. The bathroom was wet, the extra bed we had asked for had muddy bed cover and the fan was not working at the best capacity(either too slow or too fast). The bed was of hopeless quality. When I requested a better one they said they don't have an extra one. Breakfast was below par with slow service. When I spoke to the owner to accommodate my request for 15 mins early breakfast she was rude. Also, the second day when we requested for room to be cleaned, the room keys were put on the lock and no staff was there around. All our luggage was inside and I found it extremely unsafe. When we opened we saw most things were cleaned but the food parcel boxes were left unattended and not cleared. All and all pathetic experience and not at all...

My stay at Treebo Trend Alaka Rester Homestay in Madikeri was wonderful! The food was delicious, and the place was spotlessly clean with great hygiene standards. There were no disturbances during our stay, and the complimentary homemade breakfast was a highlight—absolutely delicious!

Suhaib, who manages the homestay, was incredibly friendly and accommodating. He went above and beyond to assist us with any requests, even after we had checked out. Suhaib took care of our belongings and maintained a high level of discipline and professionalism.

Firstly I would like to mention the complimentary breakfast they served. Homemade rava idly to papitu everything was too good. The room was clean with a attached balcony. Washroom was also properly clean. I liked the decor of the house very much. The location of this property might not suit someone who is keen on experiencing Coorg nightlife but it was perfect for us.
