Under The mango Trees — Hotel in Karnataka

When we began planning our son's 5th birthday to make it a memorable day, the first priority was choosing the right venue. I was fortunate to discover Under the Mango Trees on social media. The photos impressed us so much that we immediately visited the property. We were so pleased with it that we rescheduled the celebration by one day (since it was booked on our preferred date) just to have it there. Everything fell into place beautifully with the tremendous help from the host, Kshama. She constantly communicated with us, asking for our ideas, offering suggestions, and providing contacts who could help us achieve our vision. The event turned out perfectly, just as we had dreamed.

About the property : The property is very serene, private, and calm, making it suitable for all ages. It features a well-maintained 3-bedroom villa, providing a much-needed resting place for elders. The bathrooms are also very clean and well-kept. The lush green mango trees brought joy to everyone, and I saw people of all ages delight in trying to pluck the mangoes (I hope Kshama didn’t mind). Despite the food stalls, games, and stage set up, there was still plenty of space for kids to run around and play. More than half of our guests traveled a long distance to get here, but once they saw the property and everything arranged for the party, any travel frustration melted away. Family and friends stayed longer than usual, and we created many wonderful memories. We definitely want to return, even if just for a night with friends and family, not necessarily for a celebration. I stayed at this property overnight for a small gathering as my friends family was coming from overseas and we wanted a place with a relaxed vibe. This was a perfect place for us because it is not too far away from the city and yet offers a very peaceful atmosphere.

The place is huge with a lawn and landscaped very well. The patio is very comfortable and ambient to sit during evenings for drinks. There's a plaxe to sit in the lawn too.

Kshama was kind enough to stock the entire place and we did not have to ask for anything as everything was in place. The caretaker was helpful always and did not cling around ensuring privacy.

The decor is very tastefully done and it gives you a homely experience. Everything is detailed, colour co-ordinated and has a white/pastel shade which gives the place a very chill vibe. Most of the things over here are done just not for the sake of it but well thought through and small stuff like glasses, plates and spoons are of good quality unlike many places which have stuff just for the sake of it. The hosts have put attention to detail in every minute thing and it is visible from the fresh linens and towels to toiletries. They have maintained the place very well.

If you're looking for a place not too far and yet gives you an isolated and relaxed vibe, this is it. Can accommodate 6 folks comfortably.

Lovely place to get a nice break from busy city life. The ambience and decor of the house is very nice. Very well maintained and clean. The lawn/orchard is beautiful. Again very well kept and they have different sitting/lounging arrangements. The place is pet friendly in its true sense, there were no restrictions and my dog had a great time.

Staff is very polite and helpful. All needs/requirements are already taken care of and we didn't have to scramble for a single thing. Our privacy was respected too and nobody bothered us. Surroundings is also quiet and nice. Food/beverages are available on food apps. Basics are provided for in the kitchen and you can choose to cook too if preferred.
