Hotel Sri Nanak Continental — Hotel in Karol Bagh

I would not suggest this place for families especially with young girls. The area outside the hotel is an auto spares market , a narrow dingy lane - which doesn't feel safe for families/ladies at night. Also loud music plays till late night with the music systems in the vehicles being tested. However it's not bad for others. Once you cross the auto spares lane (hardly 50-60m), then you're on Arya Samaj road on the one side or the Gurudwara road on the other side which are both arterial roads in Karol Bagh. Bikanervala and Roshan Di Kulfi both very renowned restaurants and sweet shops are very close by and so is the Karol Bagh clothes market. The metro is about 800m from the hotel. Karol Bagh station and Jhandewalan station are equidistant from the hotel. Don't go by the pics on the internet, the hotel is a very old property. However, the staff is good, polite and helpful. Finally coming to the rooms, they are compact size rooms comfortable for 2 people at the most even in their executive room (which we got a free upgrade to from the delux room - thanks to the staff). The room that had been provided was extremely small. Despite of instructing the hotel staff to change the sheets thrice, they hadn't changed em for almost 2 days. The owner or the manager was quite understanding and welcoming, he heard us out no matter what the problem was on the phone and offered a solution which is appreciable but the receptionist was quite rude and lied to us about the room availability as we needed the room for a few more hours and were ready to pay extra. After speaking to the manager/owner on the phone, they agreed to let the guest stay till 1930 hrs only if he would be paying half day charges, which he did and was forced to check out as soon...

It was pathetic...they didn't have any spare washroom or room to use in case you arrive early than the check in time....I had got it booked for my parents who are senior citizens....and when my mother fall asleep on their couch they asked her to not to do so as it was not going with their standards In room there was no hot water service we had to wait for one hr after that too they gave just 1 bucket of it No kitchen so don't think about any tea or refreshments Washroom was way too small than they show and not clean...were same as Dharamshalas Fridge had fungus in it Location was also not good.had auto spare and repair shops all around so noise all...
