Don't go there I recently go to this place for buy ghewar but I see they don't cover their sweets and flies over their mithais and when I go to place order because I go to special there that's why then I give to card for payment they don't accept and said you have to pay 2% charge on it and said with very haughty behaviour and I said ok let's give a scanner I paying you by online they refused for online payment also and said give a cash I said I don't have cash He said let's pay a extra charge 2% I said nobody take extra charges on card they said I can't do anything it's on yours Then I nothing buy from this shop and move from there.. Then I got feel very disppoint because already they get profits double in their sweets then why he asked extra charge on card like a begger... They are Very rudely talking to their customers Don't go there ..... Instead buy mithais from bikaner sweets paharganj which is far bigger than this shop and lots of varieties and qualities and hygiene cover mithais with good behavior to its customers Or chaina ram sweets Chandni chowk Which is famous for its ghewar and gujiya which is very yummy and delicious seriously...
Read moreI had been a loyal customer since the days their grandfathers Mehar Singh ji & Charan Das ji used to sit on counter and greet customers with their names (I'm a Customer since 1980). Sweets were ordered from them on my marriage and again for my daughter's marriage including all weddings in family in-between.
I'm extremely disheartened to see the current fate of such legendary sweet shop which at one stage contributed in accumulation of around 20% of my body fat. Their poori chana and halwa was a consistent breakfast which my father-in-law used to bring to our house every Sunday.
Had a very poor experience couple of days ago with their burfee which I ordered through Swiggy. But after 30 years... this shop is in ruin. It seems owners dont care. Hygiene is big big issue.
