Athirappilly Clirind Resort — Hotel in Kerala

One of the best resorts near Athirappally waterfalls. Neat and tidy rooms, great room services and best restaurant with a fantastic cook. I should mention the names of the persons whom we dealt with during our stay at Clirind Resort as they are a very good team running the show. Management by Anoop and Raveendran, Room service by Baiju assisted with Alwyn. I should mention Venu, the cook in capital letters. The food he prepared for us was yummy and very tasty. We booked two rooms during second week of October 2021. We couldn't go at that time due to floods and heavy rains. But resort agreed to provide us rooms on 8th and 9th of Nov 2021. When we reached there, we got another surprise, in the form of an upgradation. As the room which we asked was not vacated by some govt agencies, they provided us a suite at the same cost. It is so wonderful of them. The pictures show the reality. Neat, clean and sanitised rooms with full adherence to Covid 19 protocol. We have only one complaint, it is about the road leading to the resort. Some parts of the road are bumpy and with potholes. At night a wild boar visited near our gate. Wonderful experience. Very strongly Recommended to all those who wish to visit...

The stay in this resort was good and location wise it is best. It's been 3 times I went to this resort and the first 2 visits were outstanding. However, the 3rd visit on 25th Dec 2020 was the worst experience, just because the new Manager who took charge of this resort. He is of full attitude. On any question that we ask, his response is stubborn and abnormal. Just before reaching we asked if we can provide basic lunch, he said NO LUNCH TO ANY ONE, AS HOTEL IS FULL" which I couldn't understand and we had to take u turn, went back to Trichi for lunch wasted 2 hours. The next day Breakfast is just Idli and Appam, basically same batter he used for both, we just asked for some thing different like Puri or Bread Jam, and he replied "NO BREAD IN THE MARKET, and HOTEL IS FULL AND WE CANNOT MAKE ALL TYPES OF BREAKFAST" and we (2 families) suffered the Hunger until noon with small kids (NOT EVEN MILK OR corn flakes for kids). While Manager is denying everything, the Kitchen incharge is ready to make some accomodations and polite, but he couldn't do without manager permission.. We decided to never go this resort in future, we paid extra premium charge this 3rd time just to get the worst...

New and Good Hotel with nice and neat room , located close to river bank (100 meters away)

Location: 4/5 Hotel rooms : 5/5 (used platinum room). It is superb room with a/c, fan, shelves, mini fridge and separate living to have food outside bedroom.

Cleaniness: 5/5 - All kept clean and good.

Food taste and quality: 3/5 Need to have standard multicusine preparing style and taste) Fish dishes are good but again lots of coconut taste.. For other state person, they have prepare like standard multicusine taste like in metro cities.

Breakfast 4/5 (need to provide cold milk for corn flakes + chocos also) Also support of cool drinks will be good. Looks like due to powercut most of the time, they don;t have anything cold. Even butter milk and curd are soar during...
