Normal boat ( canoe) safari was overpriced. The boat rower said that boating will cist Rs 700, but the host charged us Rs 1200. 300 Rupees for 1 chicken fry and 1 bottle of 1lit water. So 1 plate chicken fry costs Rs 280 lol. Usually the hosts either charge the exact amount or the discounted amount. But here the stay was too costly as compared to the service they provide.

Notice- Try not to stay here coz munroe is a great place to boat between the mangroves. You can enjoy the scenery of the canal,lakes and mangroves. So its better to visit there at early morning or afternoon and just deal with the boat...

The room was not completely clean. Cupboards already had old clothes inside. The towel given was wet and had some ants. Besides these issues it was okay. Food is available. You can upgrade to A/c for a nominal fee. Three people can fit in a family room(if any is reading this to find that out). They also provide boating facilities but it's charges are separate. We stayed for a barely a day so the issues stated above weren't reported as it didn't...

The traditional lunch of rice meals served with freshly prepared Karimeen fish and prawns were a bliss! It's economical and safe. Keep in mind that the location, Munroe Island, is not a fully developed tourist site, implying you can't expect 4-star facilities anywhere here. But relative to what is offered here, it was really nice and food's prepared at home right next to you. Haven't stayed over at their rooms, saving it for another...
