Halo Residency — Hotel in Kerala

Stayed here for 2 days and a night. No complaints. This isn't one of your star hotels. Small and quaint, but it offers you a comfortable stay.

Rooms, toilets, hallways, stairs, reception, parking and the waiting area, everything was clean and well maintained.

Service was quick, sincere and even cordial - we seldom walked past the proprietor/manager without being greeted with a face sporting an infallible smile. Suffice to say that the people involved are keen on making your stay pleasant.

Perhaps they could have offered a towel and a soap extra, plus a pair of dental kit, considering we had booked the room for two adults. But then, we didn't demand for them as we didn't need any of their stuff. However, if you're traveling very light and are banking upon the hotel for such and such stuff, I recommend you ensure such supplies are made available in appropriate numbers.

I must assure again that their response to our requests were prompt. For instance, we had an issue with the AC unit in our room, and no sooner was it attended to than we brought it to the reception's notice.

Though a recently renovated facility it retains its original 'base'. Only the interiors and fitting flooring have been newly refurbished. Sufficient seating and lighting is available inside the room as is a cupboard with several compartments (the cupboard was missing the rod/pipe to hook the hangers, but I imagine it's because the renovation was done very recently and this was one of those things that the contractor must have left incomplete).

The hotel's location is perhaps not one of its strong suits but Halo Residency more than makes up for it.

I stayed there for three days.It was so comfortable.The hotel locates so near to thiruvankulam but there's no city crowd or rush,it's so peaceful,I had two night peacefull sleep.The guest Irfan is so nice he not only just received me also accompanied me to the porch like a friend with a nice smile .it's location helps to get all those necessacities with in free minutes walk or drive and chottanikkara temple is just 7-9 minutes drive and hill palace meseum too.alsp you can head to munnar from there.The room was so lucky for me (my faith),visiting chottanikkara temple and some property deal was my purpose and everything done smoothly.theres hotels with good food nearby,also medical shops,bakeries etc.The room was clean and was big enough to accomodate 3-4 persons easily.The rate of the room was reasonable as it was so near and peacefull.enough space for parking there.Nice place,Nice people.Chettan and chechy at Jan oushadhy,mamala,nice coffe at two bakeries in thiruvankulam,bhayya at saloon thiruvankulam.nice service,reasonable price,good...
