I had the pleasure of conducting a training program at Karthika Park for 15 days, from 3rd February 2025 to 21st February 2025, for State Bank of India staff members. The program consisted of full-day sessions from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM, and I must commend the Karthika Park team for their exceptional arrangements that contributed to a seamless experience.

From the outset, the team ensured that our training sessions were conducted smoothly with outstanding arrangements. The round table settings provided an ideal interactive environment, while the audio-visual facilities enhanced the effectiveness of our presentations. The ambience of the meeting rooms was perfect for professional discussions, creating a comfortable and productive atmosphere.

One of the standout aspects of our experience was the exceptional food served during lunch. The variety buffet lunch was a true delight and a highlight of their hospitality. Missing out on this culinary experience would be a great loss for any food lover in Trivandrum. Even the tea and snacks provided during breaks were thoughtfully prepared and deserve special mention for their quality and taste. Met the main Chef Sri.Jayaprakash. Special kudos to him for really arranging an exceptional buffet with varieties each day.

The hotel was easily accessible from NH and had ample parking facilities. The receptionist was also easily available on phone to make any prior enquiries/requests etc. The rooms were spacious and well endowed with facilities that included a tea/coffee making facility, iron board, etc. There was a hot water unavailability issue as soon as we reached our room. The hotel sent a maintenance personal to our room which was just not unexpected(Clearly they had not checked the room for any faulty devices before we reached there) and not preferred(A third party in your bathroom especially during this pandemic, social distancing times). Even after all this the hot water was still not available and finally we changed rooms But the hotel only changed our rooms after we requested it to them from our side. This was very unprofessional. Also the new room still had hot water unavailability. So we had to contact the reception again ang get bit on their rough side. Eventually the issue was solved but it took an unnecessarily lot of back and forth and two days of communication after a really tiring journey we had just for some hot water for a proper bath. We had booked rooms with complimentary breakfast included for a significant higher price than room without breakfast included. Still , once we reached there we realized that this breakfast of exorbitant amount was a plain room service parcel and not a proper buffet(due to Covid-19 restrictions). Well in that case, out of basic decency, the hotel should have reduced their breakfast charges to a reasonable amount. This was just plain and pure theft .
