Aasife Biriyani - Kazhakkoottam (Trivandrum) — Restaurant in Kerala

Deeply Disappointed with Quality and Zero Accountability - I have always been a fan of Aasife Biriyani and a regular customer, but my recent experience with the Kazhakuttam branch has been extremely upsetting and completely unacceptable.

On 31st July 2025, I placed an order for a bucket Chicken Biriyani through the official Aasife Biriyani app. To our shock, the food arrived with a strong foul smell—it was clearly stale and spoiled. Serving food in that condition is not just a failure in quality control, it is a serious health hazard, especially when it’s being consumed by children.

I immediately called the restaurant and spoke to a staff member, expressing my concern. I clearly told them this was not about money—I wasn’t asking for a refund or replacement. I only wanted them to take back the unsafe food so that no one else would be put at risk. Their response? A blunt “We don’t take food back” followed by a vague promise that they’d “check with the manager and call back.” No one ever did.

That silence speaks volumes.

As someone who has often chosen Aasife Biriyani over other options, I am deeply disappointed—not just with the food, but with the complete lack of accountability and follow-through. Food safety should never be compromised. And customer concerns should never be ignored.

If this is the standard of care being offered at the Kazhakuttam branch, I sincerely urge others to exercise caution. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and initiates immediate corrective action—both in quality control and in staff...

Today I bought a chicken aasife biriyani as parcel in the evening and it costs around 295.There is a gravy and salad with the biriyani ,I hope we will get the better taste when we eat rice along with gravy.But unfortunately,,the gravy goes bad by both smell and taste..Hope it is prepared in the morning.Why they are selling it till evening,it's really bad..I couldn't really taste the biriyani. I was very excited to have the biriyani but my bad luck...So just for information,kindly have the biriyani in the afternoon , otherwise the gravy won't be good and cannot enjoy the taste .waste of money... Also I don't want to try my luck next time too.... Just started only but they failed to execute it well..... Very bad experience 😔 Pls note if your food is not good don't serve it as we are paying money and that too not affordable rate so kindly keep the standard...

Oh my God..the worst one at kazhakootam after takaaram..the hotel was not at all clean..the chikn lolipo we ordered was not cooked properly and it tatsed bad so reported the same and they cancelled the order without payment.. appreciate that🙏🙏chik 65 biryani was good..maintained the same taste like the other asife outlets..it was gud .the satff who served us buryani served it with his two fingers dipped inside the biryani bowl... disgusting ..the floor was sooo dirty and full of houseflies. the wash area was beyond words..the food was kept open near the wash area pickles and salads ..🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮 after that we ordered and they came with two mojitos🙆🙆🙆we were fans of asife kesavadasapuram. And we were regular visitors there..so since we r located at kazhakootam we were happy to see asife at kazhakootam but wen visited the...
