22 people rode bicycles from Trivandrum to Munroe Island. For 2 days, we stayed at the resort. The 21st and 22nd. On December 21, 2024, it was an overnight stay. All of us arrived at around noon and proceeded to our rooms; in total, we had 3 rooms, but there were so many riders that we had to take an additional 2 rooms at a different site. ||||Since we were all exhausted from the 100-kilometer journey, we slept for a while. Some of us took a bath, while others resumed riding their bicycles to explore the island. When we checked in, the AC and Fan in 2 rooms was broken and had to be keep the room open. At the same time, we reported the malfunctioning AC to the resort management. We all meet at the neighbouring hotel for lunch around 1:30 PM. We are all back at the resort to relax after our lunch. We were all preparing for our upcoming boat and kayaking expedition at around 4:00 pm, but we discovered that none of the rooms had water in the restroom after we entered the Loo. Around 4:00 PM, we notified the resort of the water crisis and left for the boat cruise. ||||Around 6:30 PM., we arrived at the resort, but the water was still out. The water crisis is still ongoing even after we all waited for about an hour. Around 7:30 PM, a few of us went to the 2 rooms we had at a different site to use the restroom and take a bath. Rest of us only went to the LOO after we eventually had water in our bathroom at 10:30 PM.||||After we got back, a few more cyclists from different club came to visit, and we had a cake-cutting ceremony at about 8:50 PM. We were informed that resort made our dinner in their own kitchen, and we ate it—Ghee rice, Beef roast, Chicken curry, Gobi manchurian, and Chapati. ||||We all used the packed mineral drinking water bottles on this two-day ride.||At approximately 11:30 PM., the air conditioner in one of our rooms completely broke down, forcing those five people to stay in our already crowded room.||We began our return bicycle ride to Trivandrum, which is more than 100 kms away, at 4:30 AM on December 22nd in a separate group.||||After returning home on the 22nd, some of us experienced food poisoning, while others began feeling ill that very night. A few of us were admitted to hospitals (Ananthapuri Hospital at Chackai, Trivandrum, etc.) and others for additional care. Symptoms of a disease, such as fatigue, diarrhoea, flatulence, intense vomiting, and abdominal discomfort etc.||||Despite my hectic schedule, I am writing this review in detail to warn others who may be considering using this resort's services. The location is somewhat OK. Water supply was not appropriate. They provided us with the stale food. The resort is in terrible shape, the administration doesn't care to address the aforementioned problems, and they don't even treat their guests with respect. Water logging was there as we departed the resort at 4:30 am to go home; the cycling shorts, socks, and shoes got wet. Using this resort's services in the future or recommending it to a friend is...

Read moreHorrible experience we had in our year end cycling ride that we made to Munroe drive on the island. We, 22 cycling riders made it there on 21 st December where we took 4 rooms out of which 1 room's air conditioning was faulty , so we were forced to congest each other 3 rooms. Also the water supply was not available in the evening on 21st December 2024 that made us Desp and uncomfortable staying there. Despite the poor service we got there, at night we were told food was prepared there itself and served poor quality food. Out of 22 riders 6 became ill on December 22,23 and 24 causing diarrhea, vomiting, stomach upset etc... So I don't recommend this place for a good stay...
